I got this set because I needed a large square quilting ruler. What a disappointment it turned out to be! Although you can see the lines markings for 3", 6" and 9", it is impossible to determine lines for squares of other sizes, as the lines run only in one direction. How useless is that considering that the whole purpose of this ruler is to help make squares? I had to purchase another square ruler (from Sew Easy) as this one is very difficult to use, or should I say useless if you need to cut squares that are not 3", 6" or 9" in size.

I have two quilting rulers - being new to this type of sewing. Great for straightening edges and squaring off. Cut lots of squares to make a disappearing nine patch - loved how quick and easy it is!!Solid plastic, easy to use, great value.Happy with this purchase.
