I am a fan
I'll admit it, I like Arctic fans, I'm a fan.I find them good quality, with good performance, at a great price and reliable for years. If I want better I'm usually looking at twice as much for a small improvement on performance and sound, so I tend to stick with them,The Pros move slightly more than their standard fan as an exhaust only, so they remain my go to fan for an exhaust particularly on restricted sized cases.I only give them 4 stars though as when they work, they are 5+, but about 1 in 20 seem to not work for me. While a replacement always sorts that out, it's a bit annoying, but I thinks that's just a risk with the design. So if you take the risk and get a dodgy one and can wait a bit, just get it replaced and you should be fine and happy for many years to come. can't afford taking the risk of waiting for a replacement, well for me at this price I buy two. I'll always use the 2nd later on another build and it doesn't cost much.

The Pro TC model has built in temperature control of speed, so is very quiet on low load systems
Note: This is for the Pro TC model, which is a very different shape to most of the others in the range.Good:Standard 3-pin header on 40cm cable (So GND, upto 12V, speed monitor out)Built in thermostatic speed controller, with 40cm cable for the temperature probeGood rubber isolation between the fan and the base (which has the mounting points)Built in finger guardsCheap for what it isBad:Fan can only be used one way around, if you mount it inside the case, then air will be sucked from the inside, and blown to the outside. How I'm using them:I have some 19" rack mount kit that I'm using at home, but the built in fans are noisy! So I replace them with something else. In the past I've used separate temperature controllers to reduce fan speed. But thought I'd give these a try. They are a little big for 2U 19" rack mount (but I couldn't get the 80mm version), but I've mounted them externally to blow air through the device. They are very effective, and with several fans, each having built in temperature control, I get a level of redundancy.

Definitely quieter than the stock fan
I put this in my Synology DS218. It sits in a cabinet on some bubble wrap but you could still hear it. This was less than £3 so wasn't much of a risk. Yes it's not silent but unlike before I don't notice it unless I listen for it. I had one issue in swapping which is all Synology, the design for clipping the case together is not good, needed two knifes to prise apart then pull. Installation from Arctic was fine. However.......this is a big thing. You can position this either side facing, one sucks cold air in the other way pushes hot air out. Bear this in mind before closing everything up again. The stock fan pushes hot air out.

Great thermals, low noise, great price - and you can daisy chain the fans!
I bought these fans and returned some RGB 120mm fans which were about £25 each. I did that because I read reviews and watched some videos, thinking I would change my existing fans for specifically SP fans (to go with my radiators). I read reviews on best noise/thermal performance and considered what would be the best 'bang for your buck'. These Arctic PMW 120s were the recommended ones and so I ordered them and sold my existing ones. They are great; the fans are quiet, efficiently reduce thermals in my liquid cooling loop and have a great range for RPM.Incidentally, I got the white ones so I could use the Phanteks Halos to give the RGB lighting effect, which works better on which blades tnan black. You can also daisy chain the fans, so my front 3 fans only take up 1 fan header. I have connected them to my Commander Pro and control the speeds through Icue without any problem.Definitely recommend you give these a go!

Budget PWM 92mm Fan
Ordered as part of an NZXT G12 GPU upgrade; the supplied NZXT fan wasn't PWM controllable so ran at 100% all the time. Fitting this as a replacement was super easy; 4 small screw were supplied with the fan and the 4-pin cable was easily long enough.Couple with a Gelid GPU to PWM fan adapter; I am now able to confirm the fan speed from the GPU temperature. The itself seems to be good build quality, quiet at low speed it still produces good pressure. Noise cranks up at higher speeds but so much better than the stock NZXT fan.No complaints at all and the price seems very reasonable.
