An average entertainer......
.....though it does have its interesting points. After about 50 pages or so the reading begins to pall and the Moustache and his various adventures begin to irritate and become rather tiresome. Vast breasts and vaster penises have a limited impact on the imagination these days. The literally hundreds of strange place names scattered liberally all through the book becomes boring after a point.

Confusing Plot
Vavachant is a lower cast Malayalam who gets disenfranchised by his very own people in God’s own country. The book is confusing, a new character gets introduced every now and then and when the plot feels like it’s picking up the author decides to drop it altogether and go on another sub plot, it’s frustrating to try to keep up as a reader. The book is trippy when it’s good but frustrating more often than none. The packaging and binding is superb quality, it was delivered to me in apt quality.

Simply raw and real
It is an excellent book which describes erstwhile kuttanad in its raw and untamed nature beautifully. The book is an reality check on casteism existent in Kerala in its full form.

Skip it.
I bought this book after reading about it on twitter. But the story doesn't engross you even after 50 pages. It keeps mentioning places with unusually long names are tries to weave 2-3 stories in different timelines, but doesn't manage to do so properly.
