Simply love this collection. Unique somewhat complex yet very doable pieces that are very enjoyable to play. Early intermittent level. I play allot of Martha meir , these are a great addition.have all three, wish there were more.

My students really enjoy these songs

There are references to CD or track numbers for practice and performance tempos. Very disappointed to find that neither a CD nor link to download these files was included.

This is a challenging but super fun book of jazz. I am an early intermediate piano player I have learned a lot of new techniques with this book. I highly recommend any of the 3 books in the series.

very sophisticated while not too hard for a young teenager

Good music to listen to. Love having a child who appreciates music from all different genres. Makes for a well rounded adult!

I'm from New Orleans, and love Gillock's interpretations of the blues.

My son is about grade 5/6. Loves playing these pieces, especially as improvisation is encouraged!

I bought this book as it contained one of the alternative pieces set for the Grade 5 ABRSM piano exam. In addition to this piece, there are some lovely pieces incorporating the jazzy, bluesy style. Very enjoyable and fun pieces.
