Skechers for Work Blais-EBZ Steel-Toe Hiking Shoe

I need steel toe shoes occasionally for work. They don't need to be work boots per se (I've had plenty of steel toe sneakers). I've owned a couple of Skecher's work boots/shoes. My old pair of women's Skecher's boots are 7.5, and fit well. I am an 8 in any other shoe. When I needed new shoes, I got a Skecher's work shoe size 8. They are a half size too big. So, when ordering these, I assumed they ran a half size too big. Wrong. They seem to run as expected (but maybe a little wide). So, my bad. But the boot itself is great. Steel toe and waterproof (didn't see that when I ordered, an added bonus). I would buy these again, I'll just make sure to order 8's next time.Also, I think the ratings show them as running too small because people ordered them thinking they were men's shoes.

I really loved the shoe. It's comfortable, waterproof and was a perfect work shoe around the barn. My reason for the 2 star rating is that they didn't even last 6 months. The heel started breaking down and the sole separated from the shoe. I am very disappointed at the lack of longevity. This is supposed to be a work shoe, but it cannot hold up to the daily demands of a work shoe.

I bought a size larger and these shoes are true to size. I thought I had to break them in, but once I slid my feet in them it was like walking on air. ?But don't get me wrong the shoe is of great quality and sturdy to get the job done without worrying about hurting your feet. You also can't feel the steel inside the shoe, but when you push down from the outside you can feel it and know its there.

Lasted a year. Decent shoes but than the sole started to separate. Didn’t last too long with moderate use. Nice shoe but poor quality control

skechers have always been a half size too small, so knowing that I got a half size bigger and oh man! I'm on my feet 10-13 hours a day and these have been spectacular for me. A little low in the heal but they fit right, easy to put on and comfortable for all day wear.its hard to find a comfortable steel toe but these are fantastic for both protection, support and all day comfort!Edit: bought a second pair because shoes this comfortable are hard to find!

I think that the reviews on this were miss leading. These are women's steel toe hiking boots and they fit just as expected for size. The boot fits just under the ankle so it is comfortable to bend and move around better than some that I have that are a little higher rise.

Very snug. Not tight, but snug. I had ordered a half size larger than I normally wear. If I had ordered my normal size they would be too small.I love these shoes. They are the most comfortable steel toes I have ever owned.

Love the look of this shoe, the down fall of this shoe is that it makes your feet sweat ( hate that ), it has given me a corn on my toe from being to tight in the toe. Very disappointed in that. The soles have held up well during the time I have been wearing them but have to get a different pair because I can't stand the pain from the corn I have gotten wearing them.

I ordered size 8US because my feet are 7.5US. But when i wore it, size 8 was still way too small for me. It was not even like size 7.

This boot fits perfectly. Last boot I ordered was too small. Should order half size larger if considering ordering these boots. They are so comfortable and sharp looking. Love them.

I ordered 9.5 M US, and its too small, it fits for 7US. Your sizing is not true. Tried to return but decided to give to my son-in-law
