Misleading and disappointing, it's made in China
I don't do reviews but this one p*ssed me off enough to do a product review. Reason I bought this pan is because unlike so many other brands, this one I thought wasn't made in China. China doesn't regulate their products so its unknown how much is true of their product description and quality of materials used (toxic/non-toxic).The pan did not come prepackaged inside a box, it was loose, and had no warranty paperwork or anything but it was placed inside an Amazon box instead. To me, that's being deceitful and if you got to hide where it's produced then what else are you hiding. Amazon put a picture in selling this product to suggest it's made in Germany because of the "German engineering" remark in one of the photos. It causes one to assume or implies or suggests this pan is made in Germany. Why hide the country of origin or where it is manufactured? It's a nice looking pan but when I went to look up its warranty info and other sizes to purchase, I found out it was made in China. Until China raises the bar and stops being deceitful taking short cuts in the quality of making their goods - no thank you.I'm returning the pan even though it appears to be good quality.

If you are looking for a non-stick pan, THIS IS NOT IT.
I was looking for a good quality 12 inch nonstick pan to replace a pan that I'm getting rid of. I looked up best non stick pans and one with a hexagon cooking surface popped up - ** NOTE - NOT ALL of these surface types are the same. So if you think this will be similar to the Hexclad pan, like I thought, you will be very disappointed. Yes its a sturdy pan and feels well constructed, but it is NOT a nonstick pan. We followed all the directions and food still stuck to the pan. You do have to let it soak for a little to clean all the stuck on food from it. I was going to return it, but unfortunately they're were some tiny scratches on the bottom from our gas burner grates, so I went ahead and kept it. I guess it will be good for stir frying vegetables dishes, but nothing with starch like potatoes, rice, or anything prone to stick. Disappointed!

Everything sticks to this pan!
This is supposed to be a non stick pan, but everything I have cooked in it has stuck to it, has discolored the pan and it is nearly impossible to clean. I could not be more disappointed with my purchase.

Love this pan!
Have been looking for a deep skillet that is non stick but durable. I have all this in this product. Love it.

Not nonstick enough
This is not nearly as nonstick as our old pans. After ruining the tofu this pan has been relegated to the give away to Goodwill box. We tried to use this for about 2 months. It failed enough that we went back to the old Calphalon pan that is almost worn out that this was purchased to replace. Still looking for something that will meet our needs in this type of frying pan.

Love the texture of this pan
The inside of the pan has a wonderful texture that really helps make it non-stick. I've cooked a few different things it in and the pan cooks evenly and washes up easily. Couldn't ask for more. The only problem I have with it, is that it's too big; but that's my fault for not getting out a ruler and figuring out I wanted a 10" pan instead of a 12" pan. Also, it doesn't include a lid - I thought I was going to be able to use the lid of my old pan - but since this one is more larger I ended up ordering a "universal' lid that works great.

Great Pan if you use Gas
I bought this exact pan under a different brand on Amazon Japan and I love it so much that I am now buying one for my brother for Christmas. If you are used to thin aluminum non-stick pans, this is going to be a different experience for you. It's heavy but, so far, proven to be very durable.I use gas at home and tbh, based on some of the pictures other reviewers are showing, that may be the key to success here? Some of the 1-star reviews look like napalm has been dropped on their pans.I don't know how this will perform on conventional or induction stoves but with gas, it's amazing. It does meat and vegetables incredibly well and after dozens of uses, mine still looks pristine. Even at higher heat levels (again, using gas here) the food cooks slow and consistently. Haven't been able to burn anything. (not like I've tried, jut sayin..)Here is what I recommend:1. Maybe just CHILL on the heat ok? Don't blast this thing with 11/10 heat on your first use. See how it reacts to your stove.2. Use. SOME. Oil..!!! Just a little? Butter, whatever. Don't drop eggs, chicken, or fish on this dry. (Technically you can but I think too many people simply don't know how to do it properly.)The only downside is that it's made in China so as some have already mentioned, we can't really trust what is said about the manufacturing process. If I could afford the German or French equivalent, I would but for the time being, I've very happy with this purchase.
