After searching different models, I randomly choose this one. There were some negative reviews and complaints about the product performance. However I have not experience any issues. I cannot see any lag. To me it functions just like if I had my phone connected via wire USB. I've done a 6hr trip, no issues, I've also done bunch of small trips too. I have not had a single issue with this product, I've used it on a 2020 Chevrolet and a 2021 Toyota.The boot up time, about 15sec. that does not bother me, my phone automatically connects, and in those 15sec average, I'm putting on my seat beat, adjusting the AC, checking my mirrors, and most of the time I'm making up any ways, so by the time I'm ready to drive the phone has already connected and all functions work, even the steering wheel controls, volume, mute, answer and hang up calls, selecting next track, audio quality good, just like any other Bluetooth headset.Setting up the device was super easy, almost plug in and play. From my experience with the device, I would recommend it, I just haven't had any issues, I use it daily, I just can't find any issues so far, if people complain about lag, I cannot tell, the device is so fast and smooth, responsive, that honestly I sometimes think I'm using the USB cable.

Stoped working before a yr and the manufacturer won’t respond to emails or phone calls, and Amazon is no help

This adapter does what it says and does it pretty well. I’ve run it in two newer Fords, each using Sync 3 radios. Boot time is not ultra fast but for the 15 seconds or so it takes to boot and connect, I’ve typically just finished backing out of my driveway and barely notice.

This doesn’t give your car touch screen ability. Once it connects it is great. It was difficult to get it to connect on one car but the other was easy please and worked great. The car with factory CarPlay was the one that was more difficult to connect.

I have an s21 ultra and using on a Ford Sync 3 did not work even if I downloaded the carplay app to simulate iPhone did not work properly screen was off to the right and using a $2 hack worked better than this so if you have Android do not buy this. and it even comes with Android connection which is very confusing

I bought 4 of this item for family and friends. This should be factory installed.

I leave it plugged in, in a ‘19 Ram 1500. It take a few seconds for it to connect to iPhone and launch after starting the truck, then it works like the original wired CarPlay. Works GREAT!

Worked in my 2021 Mazda CX-9 for 2 days. Would not find Bluetooth. Tech support written suggestions went on for 3 emails. No luck. Tried it in my son’s Ford Explorer - came right up. He bought it from me but I’m very disappointed.

very good product I recommend it to everyone easy to install good quality works fast and compatible with almost all models my car is toyota highlander but I have tested it on other models and it also works
