I debated about whether or not to spend this much money on a fan. But, this fan has been totally worth it.I have a psychiatry practice. So, I needed a fan that would be very quiet while still being effective with moving air in the office. I was intrigued by the notion of the Dyson fan, but that one was absolutely out of the question financially.I'm so glad I chose this fan. It looks nice, and fits well with my office decor.It is QUIET. That is absolutely vital to me- I have to be able to hear people speaking (sometimes softly), and I really can't afford to have a distracting noise in such a sensitive setting. This fan is amazingly quiet, fully living up to my expectations. I'll admit that it can be a bit noisier if I have it on the highest setting, but that seems reasonable given the basic mechanics of air intake and outflow.In terms of moving air, it really works well. I have the fan sitting about 7-8 feet away from me, yet I can feel a nice gentle stream of air just where I need it (even on the lowest setting).The "swing" (oscillating) function works well and covers a nice arc, helping move the air in the whole room so that it's not too stuffy and so that the heat or A/C spreads evenly through the room (about 300 sq ft). Also, since I'm often sitting in an appointment for 50-90 min, I really appreciate the remote. It's nice to be able to turn it off or on without leaving my chair and causing problematic disruption to a therapy session. I probably could achieve a similar effect through the "sleep" feature, but haven't tried it yet.I don't usually take time to review products. But, my satisfaction with this fan seemed worth sharing.

Purchased this fan to 'move the air' and improve the air circulation in my house with excellent central AC..... our second floor, where the bedrooms reside, can get stuffy on particularly hot days..this fan is just excellent. The tower fan does the job and more - actually cools down the upstairs and is quiet and efficient. The product is attractive and easy to use. I highly recommend the Tower Fan if you need a bit more cooling and circulation during these hot summer days. The product is true to the description and I plan to buy a second one for the hallway.... congratulations on an exceptional item.

I bought this fan primarily because I wanted a fan that was quiet for my bedroom. It certainly delivers in this area, which is why I gave it four stars. I did not give it five stars because the base needs some more weight to it, as it is a bit too lightweight. Also, I see no discernible difference between the natural and sleep modes, which both go back and forth between stronger wind and less wind, which I would personally find annoying at night. The normal mode works quite well and delivers a good amount of wind even on the low speed. The fan has a sleek, modern design. The fan is very easy to put together, and no tools are required. The user manual is fairly clear, although it alternates the terms “main engine” and “machine engine,” both of which describe the same part of the fan, and was somewhat confusing initially. Otherwise, I would highly recommend the fan.

Very nice fan. Doesn't take up a lot of space. Sound on high is a steady low whishing sound. It doesn't sound like any fan we've ever owned. The remote seems useless to me. Since it's kind of hard to tell what your changing. I guess it would work to shut it off. So we don't use it. If you are pushing the buttons or using the remote, you have to push a button to wake it up and then push the buttons to do whatever you want. Oscillating feature also runs really quiet. I will eventually buy another and I highly recommend.

As it grows closer to summer where I live and we are currently using window air conditioner units only, I wanted a fan that would really help disperse the cool air, but be sleek and quiet. This fan was very easy to assemble, just a few quick steps. This unit exceeds my expectations for noise level. I literally have to check it periodically to make sure it is running; it is that quiet. The different modes are very handy so that if I want to move it from its current location in my living room, I can easily adapt it to a bedroom, for example. This fan is tall and slender, not clunky or awkward. It is worth the extra money as opposed to a box fan or circular oscillating fan. Best of all, I don't have to worry about my kids getting injured on this fan.

On the plus, side this tower fan looks nice and also moves a good amount of air - especially while oscillating - so it does keep you cool. The remote is a nice bonus feature too. However, I was originally looking for a very quiet fan to run in my bedroom at night and this fan is not as quiet as I expected from a bladeless fan, even at the lowest speed. Thankfully, I found a quieter version in a bladed tower fan from Honeywell. I'll be using this fan to replace the rattling old tower fan I had in my living room.

This fan is advertised as "Dyson like" and "Bladeless". It is neither. It is NOT a bladeless fan and is NOT magnetic drive. It has a drum fan in the base that is cleverly hidden.It also states it has two-way up and down air deflection. Not only does it not have this, there isn't even a manual adjustment for up and down.It claims to be very quiet, which it is on setting one and two (useless, see next paragraph) but on the high setting, it's louder than my box fan.Speed one and two you can't feel any air just 6 feet away from the fan. The high setting has a Max distance of about 10 to 12 feet, but it's so loud I almost never use it.It's claim to be energy efficient because of its bladeless technology is clearly false, since it clearly has blades.Lastly, when I first got it I thought the battery in the remote was going bad so I bought a new one. It changed nothing. The swing (oscillation) button works when it feels like it and the rest work only if you're with 15 feet.This is a beautiful fan, but that's all. This fan is nothing like described. Misleading add, yes definitely. False advertising, 100%

I was disappointed with the performance of this fan. For the price it should have produced very cool air quietly. It was only ho hum. When I decided to return the fan I was shocked that the seller is in Las Vegas, CA and the cost of the return was just short of $100. The seller contributes $15 for shipping. I had read quite a few reviews before I decided to try this fan and most of them were positive so I thought I would try it. As a former teacheer, I would give it a 'C' rather than an 'A' which is what I expected.

Bought this for a xmas gift so barely used. Absoloutly awful, only works when it wants and very weak fan. No instructions in box and all buttons for use are in chinese. Save your money and buy something else
