Order a full size up
I wear 7.5 street shoes. For these I was surprised to find that the best size was 8.5 to get the arch to fit properly. The 8.0 fits (plenty of toe room), but the arch is not too comfortable in the 8. The arch hits in the right spot for the 8.5.

Was almost a half size too small. I would have gotten next size if there was a statement fit small.

Great for Zumba!
I don't think most people know what a difference the right pair of shoes can make in an activity like Zumba. The ability to flex the feet provided by the split sole helps build foot muscles. The spin spot at the ball of the foot makes the swiveling and turning in the routines easy and painless. I'm in good shape, but I have fibromyalgia and am double jointed, so shoes with even a small amount of grip make my feet, knees and hips instantly painful. I exercise to help keep my joints in place and these shoes make that possible. Before these sneakers, I used Capezio jazz shoes, which have a much thinner sole and profile. They were far better than regular sneakers, but they had less cushioning in the sole and shoe overall. I think these sneakers are much better for Zumba overall. As for sizing, I was concerned because my street shoe is 5.5-6, and the Capezio jazz shoes I'd had were a 7, but still tight. I ordered 7 in these sneakers and prayed for the right fit - and they're great! I'm so, so happy with these. Also, I chose these because they're suede-free, which means they can be tossed in the wash. I did that every few weeks with my other Capezios and they held up beautifully, looking like new on top even after two years and having danced the sole away. I'm hoping these sneakers hold up the same way. I wash in cool and set out on the rack or outside in the shade to dry. No dryer. After seeing how much I love these, other ladies in the class have asked where I got them. I sent them the link to these shoes, so if you see a few orders come in from Orange County, CA, you're welcome! ;)

Great dance sneaker
I am a dance instructor and needed a pair of dance sneakers for teaching so my feet don’t get sore from hours of teaching in jazz or ballet shoes. It recommended to go up a half size but I did not feel this was needed. I wear a size 9 in sneakers and bought a 9.5. I could have easily bought a 9 and they would have fit perfectly. I have wide feet and the width fit nicely. Arch support is great. They allow for pointing the foot nicely. These are perfect for pirouettes and turns as they allow for less grip than regular tennis shoes. I wore these to perform a finale in our recital and they were so comfortable and function great on a stage. They are canvas so they do get hot if worn for long periods of time. Most dance sneakers are hideous but I chose these as they were not too bulky or flashy, and they look great on! All in all a great dance shoe! My coworker ended up ordering the same pair after trying mine out!

These're not sneakers.
These're not sneakers, classic one I want to say. It's dance shoes with thicker and slippery soles; to turn, the sole must not bite the ground ... I chose Capezio for this model with a lower sole for better control, just enough padding and they're completely in fabrics (apart the soles of course;)). The fabric and not too much padding, that make them cooler than models with Nappa PU leather = plastic. For the fit: I'm female, I've a high foot and medium / wide foot; therefore, wide. The size of my street shoes are generally 8 or 8.5 depending on the model. I chose the 8,5; comfy fit. Perfect... I know for the most part it's obvious, but if you're not careful when you read, sizes are for women so 2 size up, it is for men ... I had to return my first order, for lack of attention, and depending on where you live it can be very complicated to return them.

Narrow feet finally gets a fit with a sturdy point(e)
Perfect size. My feet are narrow and I longed for a dance sneaker that held well for street performances, Easy to clean and let’s my point love it’s best life! Also very sturdy to go on point. Turns well on all surfaces and remains looking fine once you maintain cleaning it if used outdoors.

There is absolutely no support because they are not meant to be sneakers.
There is absolutely no support because they are not meant to be sneakers. It seems these are meant to be a specialized dance shoe.

Make sure to order two sizes above your actual shoe size.
Shoes are great! Just make sure to order two sizes above normal size. I’m size 8 normally so ordered a 10 and they fit me just fine.
