HornbyHobbies Ltd R046 Lever Switch 'on-on'

I quite liked the "Made in England" that is prominently shown on description of the switch. When I received it it actually says "Made in China", see photo. I like to buy British when I can, am disappointed with what I received, and find the marketing of this switch misleading.

Works well on my Hornby R406 colour light signals, although the brown connecting wire is very short for some reason and it's not a very positive fit unlike all the other sockets on the switch.

The switches work very well. I am using them to control 5 signal LED lights. The problem is that the wires provided are very difficult to plug in to the switches.

There are two holes that you're supposed to push the contact wires in, they don't fit particularly well and I couldn't get a contact made.Plastic is the sort of material they make Christmas Cracker novelty toys from.My purchase is now sitting at the bottom of the bin in the kitchen, so All in all I wouldn't bother.Buy PICO switch instead. Far better quality for the same price.
