Intense, passionate, beautifully intricate, Sempre Fi is a love story to rival all. 5 Stars
Semper Fi is an epic love story retold by the beautiful Sebastian Hunter, and even though male POV books are becoming more popular as of late, this is certainly one of the best rewrites out there!Sebastian and Caro's journey is a remarkable story that will stand the test of time. To this day, even after reading hundreds of books, the Education series remains one of my absolute favourites, but I'll be honest here and say that I was a little worried when Jane Harvey-Berrick announced that there would be an Education of Caroline POV rewrite. I've read a few lately and even though I enjoy them, I don't feel that they necessarily add much to the story. The first time around was amazing enough, to have experienced such an epic love story is a true gift and one that I treasured, but the idea of change scared me. I wasn't sure if the characterisation and the dynamics would be hindered, but I didn't have anything to worry about because Sebastian, in his own words not only revisited some important scenes that were missed in the Education of Caroline, but made me fall deeply in love with my favorite book all over again. From the devastation and heartbreak that Caro left in her wake, Sebastian goes through the motions, of his feelings of abandonment when his woman never returned on his 21st Birthday. The betrayal and anger ate him up, turning him from a sweet surfer with dreams to a broken young man placating his controlling Father as he joined the marine core.10 years is a long time to be estranged from the love of your life, but when their paths meet again it makes for an explosive and restless reunion.I actually forgot how volatile Sebastian was in the second book. Gone was the sweet young man we fell in love with, in his place was a dark soul, eaten up with bitterness, a life unfulfilled, a sole part of himself missing ever since the day she walked out of his life and never returned... until now, and even then it is completely accidental. With their reunion comes answers, dreams, hope for the future but doubt always lingers, insecurity constantly banging on the door; can Caro be trusted again with his heart or will she leave it in tatters when she goes back to the new life she has successfully made for herself?Experience Seb like never before as his character is flayed open, giving us more of the marine, the man, and Caro's one and only true love as we experience the highs and lows of what is love, in its truest form. Sempre per Sempre.Intense, passionate, beautifully intricate, Sempre Fi is a love story to rival all... it is quite simply a book journey of a lifetime.5 'Tesoro' Crowns

I love Seb and Caro!
I loved reading about Seb and Caro in the first two books and was so happy to hear Jane was giving us this one from Seb's pov! I loved this book just as much as well!Seb and Caro have one of those once in a lifetime loves, their love for each other has overcome everything and nothing has got in the way of it, even the 10 years they were separated. This book shows how Seb felt during the time they were apart and how he was feeling and what he was thinking when they first saw each other again. It shows that his love for Caro has always been there and always will be!They had some very tough times in this book, some were very emotional and truly shows what happens in a war zone and how it can affect the people involved and that go out to fight for their country. Seb faced some very tough times but with Caro then every step of the way he was able to come out the other side. This book had some very HOT scenes in, lots of emotion and lots of humour! I absolutely loved it and the bonus scene at the end was brilliant!Highly recommend this book and the whole series of it...Seb and Caro will always be one of my favourite couples!

This book was awesome! I loved The Education of Caroline
This book was awesome! I loved The Education of Caroline, and to hear it told from Sebastian's POV was a real treat. I don't really enjoy re-reads or retellings generally, as it often feels like the same story told twice, but it didn't feel like this at all in Semper Fi. It felt like a whole new story. The description of the war zone, Sebastian's feelings about being there, being on patrol, all felt very authentic to me, as did his story once he came home, and how he dealt with it. It seemed very well researched and a very honest account of war and its aftermath for those involved. What I love about Jane's writing, is that she tells the story authentically, she doesn't just sweep feelings and events under the rug because it would be easier to tell the story that way, she gives her characters real emotions, real issues, and they don't just magically snap out of it and get that easy HEA, it's all much more complex than that, and in this genre that is always a breath of fresh air!

Semper Fi
What can I say about this book except three words Jane Harvey-Berrick. Whenever you read one of Jane's books you know that you are in for a great story with strong characters. Her stories draw you in and can bring a tear to your eye, well perhaps that is just me who cries when reading a book.I have read the first two books Education of Caroline and Sebastian and they were brilliant. This book from Sebastian's point of view was just as good and kept me glued to the book from start to finish. I would highly recommend this book, and also take a look at the other books written by this author, you will not be disappointed.

As always, a brilliant believable story.
Written with such compassionate understanding that will have you laughing out loud and sobbing like a fool. Read all 3 books in order to really appreciate the whole story. I really love JHB's writing style and this story is definitely one of her finest yet; it's just brilliant. Have I said brilliant already?!? That's because it is and I implore you to give it a go as it's so much more than just a smutty read. But yes, you'll fall head over heels for all things Seb too!

A perfect five stars.
To read this you first need to read the two books that precede this; The Education of Sebastian and then The Education of Caroline. What a bonus a whole book in Sebastian's POV. Is it good ? Yes, way more than that, an enthralling dip back into the world of Caro and Sebastian. Really fantastic 5*+++
