Cheap tool, decent results
This is a very inexpensive tool, so I didn't expect much, not much was delivered.Instructions say "Insert the 3 supplied batteries...", that's WRONG, only 2 will fit, and it lights up fine. If you try to put 3 in, you can't screw the case closed, and it will never fit in your gun. Duh! (1/4 of the bad reviews!)Basic bore sight test: Take the barrel out of the gun, mount on tripod, mark back of bore sight case with a line facing up, and put it in the chamber. Mark where the red dot is on the wall at 25 yards. Now spin the bore sight around in the chamber so the line is down. The laser dot should be in the SAME PLACE. It was not. This shows how the laser diode in the bore sight is NOT PERFECTLY ALIGNED OR MOUNTED. It's about 1" off at 25 yds. Not great, not precise. That being said, it did confirm the mis-alignment of my glock sight, and got me closer to 'true'.Not worth returning, I suspect they all very a fair amount, at this very low price range.

Absolute JUNK! Does not fit S&W SD9VE
Absolute JUNK! I was excited to sight in my new lazer light combo on my S&W SD9VE (california version) and purchased this bore sight to get me going. When I loaded the Lazer round into the barrel it fit nicely as it should. I released the slide lock and gently returned the slide Home and to my surprise it did not fully close as you can see from the pictures. At first I thought I didn't screw the end cap all the way so I doubled and triple checked, I even tried it without the batteries. Still not satisfied with this I proceeded to field strip and remove the barrel and took measurements with some veneer calipers between a live round and the Lazer round while sitting in the barrel and sure enough the Lazer round sits higher. Extremely disappointed and will be posting a YouTube video warning other not to waist their time.. do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Bro!!! Please don't
Spend some time at the range and with the help of a friend or professional to calibrate (center) your sights. Did the makers of these devices realize that a good calibrated firearm saves lives? It is very important when you hunt to have a perfect kill so your game don't suffer as a respect for mother nature. Please if you calibrate your scope with these cheap China bad design product, run to the range and make sure you are "Centered." If for some reason you need to protect your property or your life and are relying on the China Calibration you may be in the losing side. I was curious about it and my theory in combination with comments made me feel confident in writing a review.

Cat toy
Bought one in 9mm and one in 5.56. Both came out of calibration and neither had an Allen wrench to tighten the screws. Mounted in my lathe and turned by hand and the dot wobbled as I turned the chuck. Found a torques to fit and the screws were tight but just putting the wrench in the screw would move the dot convertible resulting in a calibration offset. Look elsewhere if you want something that works.

9mm Bore site
The instructions included with this item are not clear at all they tell you to install 3 batteries negative end first which doesn't work, you can't put 3 batteries in this item and they need to go in positive end first. If you don't pull the contract spring out then the batteries don't make contract. The whole thing is very confusing and I am not sure if I should keep it or just send it back and get something else

Nowhere close to the center of the barrel
Mine was garbage! I don't write bad reviews very often. I took by barrel out and placed it, not cycled it into it. Right off the bat, the sight was to the edge of the barrel. The laser it nowhere close to center. It took no rough handling. Maybe I just had bad luck. This is my review of my device.

Junk
The media could not be loaded. the beam on this is worthless as a boresight- it has almost a crescent shape to it and is very large and not very sharp. The video for this review was taken from a mere 4 feet away. Notice the size of the beam in reference to the aerosol can next to it.
