If you are like me, you like your shampoo to lather up. This shampoo doesn't lather unless you rinse and repeat. But on the other hand my hair feels and looks great after using.

The shampoo smells nice but takes a long time to work into a lather. Very odd. I have long, thick hair, so it takes a while to get it worked through to my scalp and through my hair because it doesn’t lather easily. I probably won’t buy again.

This is the second item I’ve purchased from this brand. Both times the product has leaked through the packaging. The product itself is very drying and takes forever to lather. Still didn’t feel very clean after using it.

It takes almost 2-3X times as much shampoo to wash my fairly short hair. It also lacks the nice smell of the leave in conditioner, which I liked enough to try the shampoo. I'll finish the bottle - quickly- then go back to my old shampoo.

When I get a shampoo to review I try to also get the conditioner so I can really give the combined formulas a fair trial. So this review is for both the Argan Magic Shampoo AND Conditioner.I'm reasonably fussy about ingredients and this shampoo has me on the fence. The first 5 ingredients are great. They start with water, then Argan Oil, followed by Vit E oil, Moringa oil, and Keratin. Seriously, you can't beat that for hair care. However, from that point on it's a slew of far-from-organic ingredients including several ingredients in the Sodium Lauryl family. That's such a shame because I've researched and dealt with many shampoos and other body care items (I'm a Massage Therapist so what goes on my body is important to me) and I KNOW there are great alternatives for that family of ingredients. So if you are a label reader, you may or may not be happy with what you see. It's almost like this product is a "Hybrid" between the super-organic product based shampoos and the chemical-filled cheap stuff you get at the grocery store.That said, the combo shampoo/conditioner did a really great job. The shampoo doesn't lather heavily (thanks to the oils) but it DID clean my hair well. The conditioner feels silky smooth and left my hair shiny and feeling very healthy. So they both did their job, and they did it well.Would I purchase again in future? Not sure. I have so many other options but the price point is good and I love the huge bottle and the pump top.

I am learning to have “hope” that improvements can be made to my hair and skin.I am a creature of habit, so when I find something I like, I tend to stick with it forever. It makes me miss out on finding newer and improved products.In the case of hair products, I had never found one that seemed to make a difference with my limp, fine, and straight hair. I had given up hope. Then I discovered Argan oil shampoos. Some are better than others, but in general, they gave me hope that my hair might hold a curl and have a little fuller texture and bounce.This one makes my hair look about twice as full and bouncy. When you have fine, limp, hair – that's a miracle.Its only downside was it was rather drying. More so than most Argan oil shampoos. A cream rinse/conditioner is a must if you have long hair and want to remove the tangles.Overall, I like the shampoo quite a bit. I like the extra body my hair seems to have.
