5 Minute Bedtime Stories

I love this book, and the fact that the stories are short, yet get the point across. My granddaughter is going through this stage where she is afraid of the dark or hallways, and the story night night Newton has been very helpful for her. Because as he says in the story, there is always an explanation for everything. My granddaughter is starting to pick up on this, and she repeats that phrase. Also we can get two short stories in at bedtime instead of just one. That makes her feel special, and they're short enough that I don't get exhausted reading.

My son loves these stories. We have read them together almost every night for three years now. I had to purchase another book because our original was so well loved! He has his favorites (Night Night Newton is up there!) but we have read each story so many times that he likes to add details to the characters and plots. I can’t recommend this book enough for bedtime!

LOVE this book. Stories are perfect for a 2.5 yr old. Pictures are beautiful and just detailed enough to hold her interest. Stories are very simple (reminds me of when I try to make up some random story!), but very cute. 5 mins may be a stretch - we get through them quicker than that so far. Book is larger and thicker than I expected. It's very heavy and paper is good quality - very sturdy. I will be ordering the other 2 editions, and have this on my gift list for friends with 2 yr olds now too!

There are zero stories in this collection about the bears on the cover. I should have researched more fully the stories included, not really impressed. They are cute, and the toddler doesn't seem to mind... to much, but there are several he refuses to let me read again. Every time he brings me the book he just wants me to read a story about "no mom. Bears, bears!" from the cover. Sorry buddy, this book doesn't even have those bears...

I read this to my 2 year old before bed time and she loves it. The book is full of all different types of animals. It isn't too text heavy, so it's great for toddlers.I purchased two more 5-minute princess story books for her and they are too text heavy for her, she gets bored and can't sit through them yet.So if you you want to help them grow their vocabulary without boring them too death then this book is great.

We got this book originally from Chick fil a and I would read it to my daughter every night. We ended up misplacing it and she was distraught. I ordered this copy and was very happy with it being a board book. Very sturdy. Not to mention an amazing story! Love how it flows.

I really like these 5-minute bedtime stories. My daughter is three and a half. She has only recently reached the point that she can sit through a paragraph on a page (instead of just one sentence) without getting antsy. These stories keep her attention well enough. The perfect transition from those books with few words on each page to the lengthier stories... but still able to hold the attention of a toddler.

Does the job during bedtime. Stories were a bit repetitious and boring. And the last few pages, the edges were improperly cut during the printing process.
