Disappointing
I have been trying to get away from using so much plastic and decided to try this. It is almost impossible to get a full sheet as it tears very easily and sticks to the roller. So, basically it comes off in shreds no matter how careful I am. It seems to stick OK, but is a waste of money due to not being able to use full sheets. I guess I'll have to go back to plastic wrap.

can be difficult to use at first but I got the hang of it
At first, I kept shredding this and it was difficult to get off the roll, but after a bit of practice I was able to get the hang of it and not an issue anymore. Definitely worth it to know I can put it in my composter.

Great for environment but hard to unroll!!
Love the idea of this product but found it impossible on either of the rolls to use. Just would continuously tear. Barely usable unfortunately.

Needs improvement
I do use this instead of typical plastic cling wrap and it works well enough though not as well as plastic wrap. I can live with that (so can the planet). The major issue I have, is it comes as a roll of with premeasured perforations which makes it difficult to use. So, you cannot just tear off random lengths. But worse it does not tear at perforations, it just shreds. I have to cut it with scissors to get any useful piece.

Nearly impossible to get a whole sheet
While I appreciate the idea behind having 100% compostable packaging, in practice it renders the sheet borderline unusable. Tearing the sheet by hand invariably causes vertical tears through the sheet, reducing it to ribbons. Even when I try to scrap it by wasting the whole sheet to get a new clean edge, trying to tear the sheet on a perforated edge just creates new vertical tears as the perforations don't separate easily enough. I've gone through ~8 "sheets" of the plastic wrap, and all but one of them went straight into the garbage due to being unusable. The box needs to have a cutting edge on it, perhaps made out of recyclable/compostable plastic if not metal. The current solution is simply not working if the goal was to make a **usable** alternative to standard plastic wrap.

Could be better...
I was really looking forward to having compostable cling wrap, however this one is deff not the one I will stick with. The cling wrap itself is so thin that it rips super easily but not when you need it to. The pre-made rips are not cut deep enough that it makes it really difficult to rip there, also restricts you to that size when sometimes you might need smaller or just slightly bigger size than the preset size is. If they had the metal teeth in the box like how many other boxes have it would have made it easier to rip to the desired size without having to struggle or go get scissors and cut the desired size...so really not convenient. So sadly will continue to be on the look out for a better option than this one.

defective roll
I love this concept! I purchased 2 rolls. It took a little while to get the tearing the sheets off at the perforations down as there isn't a metal strip for tearing on the box. Again, why waste? Good design. The second roll is splitting every time I try and tear off a section. I would like to continue purchasing - if I could be sure the rolls wouldn't split, as it is a bit expensive.

Good intention - bad results
Everything is good but the product. The tag line fits the result. “I’ll break down quicker than an orange peel”Indeed. It breaks down before you can even use it.It is so thin that you can’t even peel it without having it break in small pieces. We were never able to cover a mug.The worst wrapping paper ever bought. In the picture you can see the size of what can be used.
