I usually have to refill every other day but my Guinea pig drinks a lot of water and the bottle started leaking after a couple weeks.

Q: no side view here, is the bottle straight? or curved? is the metal nipple straight? or bent? thanks!

its all straight and metal nipple

Q: Does this bottle mount to a kennel?

If it is a large kennel , I believe it will. I don't like the wire attacher. Spring is much easier
