Works well with a traditional abdo guard, but I do not think it was designed with the new style guards and has an extremely uncomfortable fit with them in.

Item seems fine, but is the wrong material. It is 95% POLYESTER, not 95% cotton as stated in the description. My son would be quite uncomfortable in these when playing on a warmer summer's day.
