BKL-612 3D Shiatsu Back Massage Cushion with Heat (Black)

I received the shiatsu massager today. I gifted it to my husband, whom works very hard. And made a great birthday gift for him. He was very pleased with it. He had me try it out and man... It really does get deep in your back. It doesn't slow down if you go back. I love that he can take it anywhere. The heat feature it such an awesome bonus. And the quality is amazing. Thank you.

This is a very strong massager. Too strong for me. If you have pain this may hurt.

This is a well-made device in as it is solidly built. I give it 4 stars because the pressure points only move in a small circular motion. True shiatsu is a rolling motion that "pushes" the knots out of your muscles. This device just moves in a limited circular motion. Also, I am only 5'6" tall and this only works about half of my back. The top rollers only reach to the bottom of my scapulae (the flat bones posterior to each shoulder) and the bottom reaches to the bottom of my spine.

It feels good but wish it had a little more pressure

The media could not be loaded. This massage cushion has both pluses and minuses and I ranked it as "ok" overall. Here are both what I liked and did not like about it.The massage action of the massage cushion is nice. I can control how hard it the massage action is by how hard I lean against it.The biggest negative is that the cushion is not designed to provide shoulder massage. Both its shape and lack if straps make it not work shoulders. The cushion has no straps to attach it to a chair, it has to rest on the seat. The cushion is 19.5" including the handle, and 16" up to the handle . So it positioned to massage lower back. Even for a short person like me (5'2") it does not reach the shoulders. I tried moving it up by just positioning it higher on the chair's back and holding it in position by pressing against it but its shape did not make contact with my upper back and shoulders.The second issue is that the cushion is quite thick (9") so it took up almost half of the seat. Depending on how much of the chair your back side needs to be comfortable this could be uncomfortable for a larger person. I can get myself perched on half of the chair but my larger husband found it to be rather uncomfortable.The cushion has two modes regular and heated mode. In regular mode it glows green and in heated mode it glows red. The heat is very gentle.The massage action is pretty intense, so both the shape of the cushion that takes up a lot of room and the intense action would make it unsafe to use while driving in my opinion.I find it pleasant to break up a long day sitting in the chair in front of the computer. So the bottom line is that I think it is nice for small people who would feel comfortable sitting on half of the seat and are not looking for shoulder massage.I received this cushion free of cost from Beetla for testing and review. Beetla requested an honest review and I did my best to provide both pros and cons of my experience with this cushion.
