Funko Rock Candy: Supergirl Action Figure

I have been collecting comics for over 40 years and this has to be my favorite Supergirl figure by far. I got mine in the mail a few days ago and could not be more pleased. The colors on this are really bright and crisp. The figure has some heft to it feeling very solid. She weighs exactly 2.45 ounces (without a stand). She has no moving parts, nor did I expect her to. She comes with a round translucent stand with 2 pegs. At first it might seem like the pegs are off a bit, but if you put the larger peg in first, the smaller one will fit in fine. She can stand on her own, without the stand, but it wouldn't take much to knock her over. She is packed in a great box and I debated if I should even take her out. Luckily, the decorative packaging is not sealed by any type of tape or adhesive. So you can remove her and put her back in the box to restore that "mint in package" feel. I also bought Batgirl (classic), Wonder Woman (classic), and the "1980 Barbie Afro Action Figure" to satisfy my need for a Pam Grier action figure. I hope Funko will continue to do more pop-culture icons in this style.

A fun Supergirl variant!

This is going to be a cookie cutter review for the 4 Funko Rock Candy DC Action Figures I ordered. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with my order. I ordered 4 Rock Candy DC figures: Batgirl, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn. These were purchased as gifts for my 3-year daughter who absolutely loves them. And YES, I'm fully aware that the product's description notes that these are intended for older kids, but for the most part they have survived the little one's wrath.Since early June, my daughter has managed to scuff off some paint, take one of Wonder Woman's leg off, and detach Harley Quinn's hammer. Despite all of this, the figures have fared far better than I had expected under the circumstances. I was able to reattach the leg with some industrial adhesive, the hammer has been tucked away for the time being, as for the paint scuff, well, those might get touched up at a later date. Overall, I'm impressed by the build quality; curious to see how much longer they'll survive.As for safety concerns, figures do not have any obvious small/edible pieces. Maybe Quinn's hammer, but that been taken care of. The little one is surprisingly careful with her dolls, and most of the damage the figures have received, has come from actually playing with the figures as dolls/toys. Heck, even plastic super heroes gets bumps and bruises during mock battles.

It is top heavy and tips over too easily. I had to put adhesive squares under the feet to keep it upright. Other than that it looks nice.

I love this series. They're well designed, well constructed and well painted. Each figure comes with a transparent stand with pegs for each foot. The pegs and their corresponding holes have different size from each other to properly give the figure a correct standing pose.Supergirl here is the classic one. It's probably my favorite from the line (though perhaps it's because it's currently the only Supergirl figure I own, whereas I own figures for all the other characters). It comes in bright colors and a powerful pose.

My 2 year old wanted a girl superhero WITH A CAPE! Yeah, like that exists... Anyway, now we can be super brave like Supergirl and sleep in our big girl bed. Thanks for giving us the courage we needed.

I ordered these as a gift for my four year old niece. I know that is way younger that the intended age, but these seem well suited for younger kids. Very sturdy looking and adorable, not to mention I appreciate the age appropriate attire. Perfect for my little Supergirl fan!!

Thanks to her TV show, we're seeing a lot more Supergirl items these days, including this little Rock Candy figure from Funko. While mostSupergirl figures feature either her more modern looks (post Infinite Crisis or New 52), This one is a throwback to the Silver Age. She comeswith a small clear plastic stand, but she could also be displayed in the box. It should be noted that this is not really an action figure, as thereis no articulation. All together, a great item at a nice price.

Esta figura de funko de la linea de rock candy esta muy buena, tiene buenos detalles y acabados de pintura, llego rapido a mi domicilio y la compre a buen precio, myu recomendable si te gusta comprar este tipo de figuras.

Pultronno non è mai arrivata ho messo 3 stelle per il venditore e stato gentilissimo sprovveduto. Subito al rimborso mi dispiace tanto che non sia arrivata a mia figlia piaceva tanto.... Peccato.
