Decent, strong tarp
I got this to use as a rain-fly for a hammock. Has lot of tie down points and comes with 6 guy-lines. Bright silver on the inside and brown on the outside. The slightly hexagonal shape gives excellent coverage and the mid-point tiedown points give options when things like trees are in the way. Pegs are decent quality and the tarp folds up back into the sack quite well. I’m sure there are lighter tarps out there but this is decent quality and the brown loses itself well in the woods if you want to be unobtrusive. I went for the bigger one but realistically I think the smaller one would be a better fit for my needs. I’m going to buy the smaller one too.

Versatile and Strong
I've used this while camping many times and it hasn't let me down. The sheet is silver on the inside, brown on the outside, the combination makes it rather light proof and is unobtrusive in the environment. It can take a fair bit of wear and tear, I've had it secured with rocks and all sorts and there's been no damage. It's very light and packs down to a very manageable size.I couldn't recommend this more, it's served me well and I'll continue to use it on all of my camping trips.

Great lightweight tarp
Loses some stars for rubbish pegs. Otherwise just what I wanted and very light. Excellent. Can't comment on durability yet.

Wow
I've used this tarp during camping with lightweight telescopic poles. In strong wings it holds up well. I've also had it up near the back door so washing could be out when it was hot but raining, even though up for 3wks, not once did it leak, it held up under strong winds and movement. I had it folded over for convenience with a guy role at the fold to hold it place, and it was great, sturdy and kept the washing and the family dry.Think it only came with 6 guy ropes when it has 8 anchor points, I had spares so still giving a 5 star review, if I hadn't it may have had 4 stars.Definitely recommend.

Decent, no-frills tarpaulin
This is a decent, no-frills tarp sheet that feels well made and reasonably weighty and durable. It comes with a main bag, and a second bag for ropes and pegs. The pegs are nice and lightweight, and the orange and black ropes feel strong and reliable, with toggles. Being bright, the ropes are easy to find, and the green cover shouldn't shock the wildlife. This does feel like a domestic camping sheet- good for family trips a couple of times a year maybe, but not up to the quality you’d want for a major expedition or long-term outdoors work.Having said that, the loops and eyes around the edge have been made to a high standard, and the shape has been thought out.As a big, light, waterproof sheet, this is a pretty useful thing. It’s too nice (and too expensive) to be left behind at a festival, but useful in all sorts of ways, ranging from as a ground sheet, to a rain or sun shade over a blanket, to an extra layer over a tent that needs some extra help.I think it is a little overpriced at time of writing, though to be honest I think that about a lot of outdoors gear.

Great product!
We used to put a heavy duty tarp from Costco over the table area of campsite but it was way too heavy for us to set up. So we decided to try this one out. It was AMAZING! Big enough but easy to set up as it's not so heavy. It rained quite a bit on our first night but we stayed dry under it and it had no issue at all! It is also very convenient to carry as it becomes small - and it's not too hard to put it back in the bag either! Highly recommend!!

Waterproof!
I'm reviewing the 12x10 rectangular tarp. This tarp came 2 days ago, just before a pretty big rain storm (radar pictured.) I set it up just before the storm to test and to make sure it is waterproof. I am happy to say that it is completely waterproof and has been set up for over 30 hours of continuous rain without so much as a drop of water on my hammock (pictured completely dry!) And about 10 more hours of rain forecasted. The center seam is factory sealed. The multiple guy rings will make this a very versatile shelter in many situations like quick lean-to shelters, etc. The side guy rings make an excellent tie-off point for my bug net too! The material is not extremely thin and lightweight, but very durable and should withstand many outings of use if cared for.Extreme lightweight backpackers may like something lighter, but this is easily packable, and I needed something for FULL coverage of my hammock. And at this price, I may buy a couple more!I set my ridgeline above and hang the tarp with a mini carabiner and prusik knot (pictured) so that there's no chance of water running down the rope and dripping on the inside. The tarp is tough and pulling it nice and tight is no issue as the seam runs on this line and is a good reinforcement for pulling. The stakes are nice and lightweight aluminum, although you may have your own stakes, and the guy ropes are nice orange and reflective at night so when you're stumbling out in the dark you should easily see them reflect with your flashlight. The adjustable tensioners are plastic, but hold up well with minimal slippage. I only had to re-cinch them a little bit once so far.All in all, I love the green color, it looks great in the woods, and I would definitely recommend this tarp for hammock users and others.

Schon mehrfach verwendet
