Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This was simple to put together and has held up well to the abuse my two 9 month old kittens have put it through. (They are not gentile) They love to play on top, inside and jump onto it from the other furniture. It is large enough to accommodate them when they’re full grown with out being bulky or big. I think I will be ordering another one for the living room.

I’ll preface what I’m about to say by saying if you have an extremely physically active cat, you may wanna rethink purchasing this cube as it isn’t sturdy enough to survive. My cat had it flipped over and flattened in a matter of minutes. If you have very docile or chill kitties, this will be cute for them. For my cat, I should’ve nailed or glued it to the floor. I didn’t so much mind him flattening it after having to re-assembling it, but my cat got himself trapped inside it after my cat got inside it and managed to flip the floor up to cover the hole and then in his panic to get out he flipped it over door-side down. Didn’t know he was even in it until I heard him meowing loudly from the next room. I still let him play with it because he loves it but I stay in the room with him and when I leave, I fold it up and put it away just to be safe.

I blame myself - I purchased another similar product which still is in perfect condition and has stood the test of multiple kitties jumping and sleeping on it. THIS product was $10 bucks cheaper but looks almost identical—I should’ve known better. While this product assembles very easily—you can tell when handling the pieces that they were very flimsy. Had I not already had a frame of reference with the other (similar) product I had previously purchased - I may not questioned this one right off the bat - but I gave it the benefit if the doubt. So the minute I put it down for my (5 month old) KITTEN - my little one jumped into it and the the “stabilizing” piece started to droop in the middle! Upon further examination- that piece is a thin plastic wrapped in cloth. The plastic is too thin to offer support to a kitty trying to lay on the top bunk. I will be returning all 4 I purchased and rebuying the one that costs a little more. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR- learned that lesson!

I was looking for something collapsible for a crate to cargo my 2 cats overseas. Happy to report we flew 7000 miles and they both magically fit inside (one chonk is 21 pounds and rude af) and are now inseparable. I seriously think this cubbie bonded them over the 30 hour trip of 4 car rides and two planes. Now they have it set up and love curling up on top and inside it.Who knew. So many expensive beds bought over their 11 years and this thing is their fave.Maybe it'll be magic for you!

Both of my kittens love this thing. One hides inside and stashes all his toys in there, while his brother is always sleeping on the top layer, which has nice give similar to a hammock. This was the perfect addition to their “cat castle” - perfect size and functionality inside our multi-tier cat crate.

This was the worst quality cat condo I had purchased, and I’ve tried 4 different brands. Our two 5 month old kittens destroyed it within a month and I had to throw it away. It was constantly collapsing when they played on it. They also tore up the sides as if it were a scratching post. It’s made of a thin piece of plastic inside for the walls.

It does not fit in an ikea cube. I had to bend the top down and squeeze the sides in to get it to go in. If its a target one, it fits way easier than ikea’s. But it was a neat solution for my cat to sleep peacefully without my puppy going in to bother her

My ferrets love it. Would also be good for kitten or small cat.
