I first ordered this product and it was not working well. Had a hard time charging then it wouldn’t hold a charge after only a few uses. I contacted the seller and they immediately returned my email with apology and sent out a new battery. It was charged successfully and seemed to work perfectly on first clean. Very satisfied With customer service!

When purchasing an less known brand of battery, I always have some reservations about the quality but after having used this battery for the past 5 months or so, I can say that my experience has been great.Using my Roomba with my original battery that went bad was like playing hide and seek on a daily basis but now with this higher capacity battery, I always find my Roomba back in the charger after cleaning my 1st floor (~ 1,800 Sqft). The challenge with my 1st floor was that there were many obstacles and chairs etc. but even with all the changing of directions and picking up all the dog hair tumbleweed (from 2 Samoyed Dogs), the battery is sufficient to finish the 1-2 hour job without losing power.Great purchase! ... Also the additional rotating brush pieces were an excellent bonus as part of the package.

First, batteries are needed to be replaced when it is aged, so don't expect them to last "forever", the OEM battery last around 2 years and then slowly degrade, this aftermarket last as long as the OEM one, but half of the price and get you slightly more "uptime".That is my third purchase, so I can tell you, the battery will last at least 2 years (full charge), eventually, a full charge wouldn't last more than 30 mins, that is when you should consider replacing it, or keep it if it is enough time to get the job done.

I got the 5000mAh version and charged the battery overnight for the first charge as directed and maybe got 45 mins before Roomba went back to the charge port. Far cry from the 1.5 to 3 hours advertised. Subsequent runs just got worst until approximately the 6 run after again an all night charge Roomba docked after 20 mins. The 10 plus yo original Roomba it was replacing lasted longer than that. Have returned to Amazon.

I received the 4500mAh battery by mistake so I contacted Powerextra and after some chatting they wanted to send me a 3500mAh battery for free. I said I'd rather have a set of bristle and beater brushes instead. They said that's not possible due to warehouse inventory. Well long story short, they sent me a 4500mAh battery and a set of bristle and beater brushes and a 4 pack of side brushes! What a deal! Great customer support!I can't comment on the 5000mAh battery but the Powerextra 4500mAh battery I got works great in my Roomba 531. One thing I did notice is the Powerextra battery weighs about 60 grams less than the original iRobot 3000mAh battery. Kinda strange! Anyways, five months now with daily use and no issues at all. The side brush doesn't last as long as the genuine iRobot brush. I made the Roomba 800 & 900 series side brushes work in my 531 model by drilling the center hole larger and countersinking it deeper.Considering a genuine iRobot replacement battery is more than double the price of a Powerextra battery but both batteries look the same in quality, both work the same, both are made in China and both companies offer a one year warranty, I will definitely be buying Powerextra batteries for now on!
