Carman - The Champion [DVD]

I thought this movie was going to be more Christ centered than it was. I appreciate Carman's ministry, but was disappointed to see some things I personally felt were inappropriate for a Christian movie. It was a good concept, and Carman's acting was great. The fight scenes looked real, and the good guy wins in the end. But... it needed to show more of the preacher's love and dedication for Jesus, and less of his love interest's "assets". I was not against the preacher's character having a love interest, Christians fall in love AND they kiss. It was just the inappropriateness of the way the actress dressed, especially in one specific scene. If TBN is going to make movies, they need to make it cleaner and glorify Jesus, not things that the world glorifies.

I read a review on this movie that was an all-out lie. The review stated that there was a sex scene and there was NOTHING of the sort in this movie!!!I am a huge boxing fan and the scenes were excellent. Had me tense like a real boxing match.I loved it!!!Watch it for yourself.

Ian a great fan of Carman licciardello, and this movie is a great movie. hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

One of my favorite movies

I have always liked Carman and I'm surprised I missed this movie when it first came out. There are some continuity issues that someone like me (who was in the film industry for awhile) catch quickly... but it is still a worthwhile movie with good values.

I enjoyed the DVD. It was clear, sound is good. Didnt realize it is a movie, but storyline is great. One sexual scene of which I cannot show to the kids at the church, but great DVD to own. By the way, Carman is kinda cute!Thank you.Rev. Sharon

Loving Carman as a singer, this film was a bit of a disappointment. His acting in his music videos is good and it is also in this movie although some of it is really cheesy and predictable. Effects are generally good with a few bad ones in between. The story line is not very clear and it is all over the place. It has a good ending though.

Amazing story loved every part of it.
