This is a guide to those rocks and minerals from around the Lake Superior area. The entries are logical for common areas where they are found in the 3 close states. Photos are well done and include descriptions of locations go to look at.

This was a good book, it didn't have as many colored pictures in it, as I would have liked but it had very good info.

Author went in depth on where to find the different types of rocks, agates, and gemstones on a trip around the lake. I live near the lake ad never realised the geology was that varied. great book for anyone living near or visiting the lake superior area.
