I’m amazed!
Ever tried to break up an old cast iron bathtub? It’s not easy. After trying and failing with various methods, including taking a sledgehammer to it, I found this blade. I didn’t have much faith that it would work, especially since nothing else had, but boy was I surprised. It cut through the cast iron like a hot knife through butter. We were able to cut the tub in half using just one of these blades. It really does work as advertised, and made the conversion to a large shower possible. Even the contractor helping me was stunned by how well it worked.

Works great
I've used this to cut concrete and cast iron drain pipes. You can get three cross-cuts on 4" cast iron pipe before the grit wears off. The trick is to use light pressure and let the blade do the work. If you push down hard you just heat things up and slow down the cut. When cutting cast iron I would stop every 30 seconds and cool things off with some water and soluble oil. Cut 3/4ths through the pipe, and then a sharp rap with a 3lb sledge will break it the rest of the way through. It takes about 5 minutes per cross cut. Wear cover-alls and a mask, because you're going to be coated with rust dust when you're done. You can stock up on these for WAY less than the cost of renting a cast-iron pipe cutter.

Impressive blade
Used this blade for what I thought would be an easy job of cutting through the pipes supporting my kids old basketball hoop. It took forever but the blade held up fine. After cutting through, I realized why the Sawzall was struggling. I thought we were cutting through just the tubing but it turns out that we were cutting through both the tubing in a spot that was filled with the supporting concrete (I thought we were cutting above the concrete). Therefore, I am much more impressed. It cut through the concrete filled tube and the blade was still in fine shape. (I later cut up the rest of the pipe using a cutoff disk in a circular saw).

Good special purpose cutting blade
I used the blade to cut through a one inch wrought iron bar and it did a fine job. It's still was a slow task but cut very steady. No other blade I used would even accomplish the task. I'm glad I bought it and recommend it for the special purpose uses for which it was designed.

Not impressed
I own several Milwaukee tools, bits, blades, etc. and give high marks to nearly all of them, but not this blade. I bought it to do one particular job that I could not do with a metal-cutting circular saw blade. One cut through a #4 rebar and that's all it would handle for about 1 1/2 inches of the blade. Another cut ruined another 1 1/2 inches. So, if I have the luck to use another part of the blade, I might be able to get a few more cuts out of it. Maybe it works well with ordinary nails, and, if I do buy another one, I won't be expecting it to do quite as much as I did before.

Breaks prematurely, but cuts well before it does.
Cuts well enough, I did (barely) manage to finish my project. However long before the diamond grit on these blades wore off they both fatigued and broke off right at the point where the blade narrows to enter the saw. This point obviously needs to be thicker or reinforced somehow in order for these to actually be used until the blade itself wears out.

Would buy again, used to cut cast iron pipe
Used this diamond tipped blade to cut through some cast iron pipe for my gas plumbing. (Make sure the gas is OFF before doing this!)It worked great with a different brand reciprocating saw and I still have it. Great buy!

cuts concrete
I bought this to cut Hardie trim board. 1" thick and made of concrete this blade goes right through it. I think this blade would cut almost anything. Being made from cast iron it stays strait and does not bend as some other recip saw blades.
