Marie Sharp's Hot Habanero Pepper Sauce, 5 Ounce

Love this stuff. Been using it for about 15 years and it is still my go-to hot sauce for frozen burritos or home made breakfast burritos. I also like to put it on chips and sprinkle them with cheese. I have a lot of different hot sauces and use them for different things. I don’t use any one as an all purpose sauce, but I’ve probably gone through more of this than any other of my hot sauces (close contenders are Tabasco and Huy Fong sriracha). It’s bright and fresh and really tastes great! There is another that I’ve used a lot, Jardines Sontava, because I was able to purchase it locally, but I suspect it is actually rebranded Marie Sharp’s, because it is also made in Belize (their other products aren’t) and it tastes identical - even in a side-by-side taste test. I couldn’t fine any definitive proof of that online, but I did find some other people saying it was rebranded Marie Sharp’s.

At a B&B we recently stayed in, the proprietor offered three varieties of hot sauce for his delicious scrambled eggs. Two of sauces offered were familiar to me... one being the good old Tabasco, which I don't care for as being too vinegary. But one bottle was Marie Sharp's Hot Habanero Pepper Sauce, and I was curious enough to try it. It was simply fantastic! The sauce has a bright orange-red color because a major ingredient is carrots, which I think is unique. But the star of the show was the very not, but still tasty, smokey roasted habanero flavor. THIS IS A GREAT HOT SAUCE that I ordered from Amazon while still sitting at the breakfast table. It's going to become a staple in my home.

Fell in love with this during a trip to Belize a few years ago, where it was on almost every table (similar to how ketchup is on every table in USA). But this is so tasty on so many different foods. Not too hot, just a nice blend of spices to enhance your meal!

I got turned on to Marie Sharp's Hot Sauce during a trip to Belize. It has come to be my go to hot sauce. I like Sriracha a lot, but this hot sauce seems to blend into the background more. It is a bit sweet, due to its carrot base, but it is so good. I highly recommend it. Note: I am not one of those crazy hot, kill me with heat, kind of people. This sauce is what I would consider hot, use with caution.

Discovered this fine hot sauce on a business trip to Belize in 2004. Had colleagues bring me back some bottles on their business trip back until I noticed that Amazon distributes it. Excellent hot sauce. My favorite, bar none. I hate the predominate vinegar taste of most hot sauces. This one is hot but that carrot ingredient gives it a unique but palatable taste. I have not tried any of their other sauces. Every time I think about doing it, I can't help myself getting what I know I will love. Wish this was in every restaurant instead of that vinegar tasting Tabasco crud.

This hot sauce is UNIQUE. There is NO other hot sauce that has the flavor profile of Marie Sharp's hot habanero pepper sauce. It is not SO spicy that you can't enjoy the flavor, but it gives just the right amount of kick. I got this as a gift since my friends know that I rarely eat food that ISNT spicy.... Now I am purchasing it on my own because I love it so much :)
