Listen, I live in SC now and you can’t find whoopie pies anywhere!!!! And IF you do, they aren’t worth buying! It’s a bittersweet thing now that I know I can just order them from Amazon…. This brand is the best ever…. Also, I ate them ALL by myself! I wish I could partner with the company and open up a store down here in Myrtle Beach!!

I only ordered here online because my food stores no longer carry them on a regular basis. I just love Steve’s pies. They are big, around 3 inches in diameter and the cream filling is really fluffy. It may be a little sweet for some tastes but the filling contrasts with the dark chocolate cake. The only Whoopi pies better than Steve’s would have to come directly from a bakery and no one around here makes them.

Fabulous! Steve’s are my favorite Whoopi Pie anywhere!!! Soft moist, and light chocolate cake with just the right amount of vanilla cream. Tastes like my childhood growing up in Maine.

Delicious and a great gift item! I highly recommend this for those who love original whoppie pies made in Maine!

Very fresh and delicious… tasty cream filling… like a super Devil Dog….

These are okay but not great. There is not a lot of filling (1/4" measured) and the filling is gritty, like when somebody bakes a cake for the first time and uses sugar instead of powdered sugar for the frosting. The cake is good and very moist, but it's mostly cake with some gritty sugar/shortening thrown in the middle. I haven't tried other mail order whoopie pies but I don't think I'll get these again. Maybe it's not authentic to have a smooth, creamy filling and not much of it?

We moved from NH to TN and I was missing these things. Hands down the BEST and MOST AUTHENTIC whoopie pie. You will not be disappointed!!
