The 40mm case size fits smoothly and looks good on the wrist. The automatic movement is a plus. However, the 41 hours power reserve claim by Seiko in the specifications is questionable. A full wind can last upto 18-20 hours once off the wrist. The polish on the steel case easily shows minor scratches so if you’re planning to use this roughly as a daily wear watch, you might want to be careful. Overall it’s a good entry level watch if you’re making your first investment into the world of mechanical watches.

I love seiko

Seems to be good so far , nice finish . the auto winding mechanism will work only for a day or a bit over that, so one has to keep track, if the watch has not been worn / used .

Watch is perfect and no compromised on its quality. But the only problem buying online is you will no get a filled up warranty card in every case . In my case I didn’t gent a filled one . So I can’t clam the warranty that company provided . Thats the only inconvenience I found.

Its a looker. My first automatic and seiko 5 is the best one to start with if you want to collect. My only qualm is that the polish metal is soft since i see minor scratches within a month of purchase. I am a little clumsy too btw.

Awesome value for money n make my day

I bought this watch to wear on vacation and it is a great watch for the money. Mine runs very well within a few seconds a day, much better than spec. The hand winding feels good and even though it isn't screw down crown the water resistance held up to a week of being in the ocean. The bracelet is adequate and I was able to get a good fit but I wish there was more than 2 points of micro adjustment on the clasp. I have a smaller wrist but the case is a great size that would work on many different wrist sizes. It looks great 20mm straps as well. I'm not a fan of the flat hardlex crystal so I swapped for a double domed sapphire and I highly recommend that mod, there are lots of parts for SPRE's out there and at the low price it is fun to work on.

Le rapport qualité/prix sans équivalent mais "Uniquement & Précisément" sur les budgets entre 200 et 700€ compris. Au-delà des 700€ allez voir ailleurs il ya mieux à tous les niveaux avec en + des noms de prestige. En revanche, c'est la seule marque entre 200/700€ qui ne souffre d'aucun défaut !Que des qualités selon les avis du web, des spécialistes et de moi même.SEIKO reste dans 'la petite gamme" aprés vous avez "moyen de gammee et pour finir le "trés ht de gamme". La fiabilité du mécanisme Seiko est excellente pour le prix. Durant la journée quel que soit la lumiére ce modéle s'illumine fortement dés que vous passez un peu à l'ombre et ceci toute la journée. En revanche durant une nuit compléte ce modele reste lumineux entre 2/3 heures que j'ai pu vérifié et non toute la nuit ! mais pour une "luminescence totale" vous devez passer avec des montres montées au "tritium".*** Je vous conseille fortement quel que soit la montre de prendre des modéles a 10Bar minimum (modéle en question) afin de pouvoir prendre: douche/bain/piscine sans aucun risque ! sous réserve que la couronne soit fermée. Ne forcez pas sur la courrone ou alors vous abimez le joint et donc l'étanchéité.* Verre (Saphir) aucune rayure possible mais il peut casser mais assez rarement !* Verre mineral (Hardlex/Seiko) sensible aux rayures mais ne casse pas !* Seiko/Bracelet acier est de bonne facture avec " double vérouillage"* Longueur du bracelet acier s'adapte jusqu'aux poignets de 24cms maxi.

Seiko automatic movement, 39 mm , 44 mm lug to lug, comfortable to wear. Seiko should try new dial colors like green, Braun, silver and sapphire glass for this model. Luminosity is great. I definitely recommend this watch.
