No more tailgate malfunction.
The handle for tail gate on my 2000 Chevy K2500 had come apart. I took it to my brother in law, who is a Chevy guy and body man. He said bad news, that thing is expensive and hard to install. On a whim, I looked on Amazon, and voila!...not expensive AT ALL! I watched a quick YouTube tutorial on how to change it out, and surprise, definitely not difficult. The product appears well-built and indeed the installation was 5 minutes tops using ordinary tools. My tailgate now functions like the day it was new. An excellent value

Broke after a couple days.
Installed very easy and worked great...for about 2 days. It broke after opening tailgate a few times. Now my tailgate is stuck shut. I contacted the seller and got no response.
