I love it so much as we progress through the story we get a little surprise which I was like WOAH but in the end I had a urge to play notion while reading this since it would fit well for one scene.

Sports and Culture
Volume 16 of Komi Can't Communicate continues the story of Shoko Komi, the shy high school student, and her longstanding quest to make 100 friends. This particular volume continues with her second year of high school and includes events such as the second year sports festival and the planning for the culture festival. This volume contains chapters 208 to 223 of the story. As with all of the volumes so far in this series, volume 16 continues with the high quality artwork that is to be expected. I found that this volume contains the usual great work all around from the expressive and amusing characters to detailed background art.The story was mostly enjoyable. Komi continues her second year of high school and the volume contains the usual shenanigans that she and her friends get into. This volume starts off with the school's annual sports festival, has a few random stories in the middle, and concludes as the students begin working on their culture festival. I did find that this volume continues with the enjoyable slice-of-life story that is a mainstay of this series. This includes a couple of new characters, though it remains to be seen how prominent that they will become. There is also some additional focus on Manbagi, especially with the feelings that she has developed for Tadano. The only issue with this volume is that the pacing of the story overall is slow. I have noticed that this is an issue with the recent volumes of this series. Certainly, the main relationship between Tadano and Komi does not progress too much here.Overall, if you have enjoyed this series so far, you will likely enjoy this installment as well.

Delightful!
I must admit. I was beginning to worry that Tadano had been forgotten by the mangaka. With Komi's goal of 100 friends, there seemed to be a purposeful lack of focus on the romance between her & Tadano. This volume got the story back on track, so to speak, since Tadano suddenly became vital again. The play was worth the wait, as silly as it was. There were a great deal of charming, funny moments in this volume. The art was skillful and appealing. Overall, it was an excellent volume.

Its everything you need from this genre.
For those of you who dont want to be spoiled by the other reviews (I don't understand why they feel the need to tell you everything that happens in the story instead of letting you experience it for yourself), this ones for you....... if you've come this far in the series, you shouldnt even be reading reviews. Its great. It only gets better. Buy it. That's all. You're welcome. \( >w< /)
