Sister Holland gives the impression that she is shy and quiet, but she did a great job in her writing! Elderholland also did wonderful. I wish everyone who is contemplating divorce would read tHe middle part of this book, too. It is a humorous conversation as Elder and Sister Holland jointly discuss their differences. Forgiveness and patience and understanding are much needed in each of our lives.

I love everything that comes out of Jeffrey R. Holland's mouth. After reading several of his books I feel the same way about everything he writes. His knowledge of the Plan of Salvation and the Savior are deep, and I love how he makes it so applicable to his readers. What I found unique about this book is that his wife writes the first half. I had never read any of her words, but she is an absolute delight. As a woman, I found her insights incredibly comforting. This book will lift your spirits and expand your knowledge and understanding.

My maiden name was Holland, my younger brother said that he tried for years to make a connection on the family tree -- no luck! Still, I love to hear him talk and read the words that flow thru his typewriter, as he makes point after point without offense. This can be a "pick me up and read a few pages" item -- to give some nurishment to your spirit before having to go back to the real world, type of volume. Loved it! A good book written by a tender man.

This is an amazing, inspiring book!! Jeffrey and Patricia Holland speak right to us about the things we all deal with and they have wonderful counsel for all!!

A wonderful book by Elder Holland and his wife which answers many of life's questions and lays out clear and simple paths to take us to where we need to be to get back to our Heavenly Father.

Jeffrey and Pat Holland hit one out of the park with this one. Pat had great and timeless wisdom for the women. But it is very informative for men to read the words of Pat Holland as well. Pat wrote her part separately from Jeff's. She laid her soul bare. She has great wisdom.Jeffrey Holland is always great to read. He is a spiritual son of God. He spoke of many subjects but did a superior job on explainingthe whys of the divine law of chastity. It takes great courage to speak with such humility about the law of chastity.

Delivery as promised but condition of book not acceptable for gift-giving. If I had known the condition, I would’ve spent the extra $1.67 for the new condition hard copy. Nevertheless, the book content is excellent.
