The stencil on the side looks fine and doesn’t detract from the aesthetic of the candle.Yankee Candle says the candle itself is a soy blend wax, and it has two wicks. The candle color is an off-white that verges on a light taupe color.The quality of the candle seems perfectly fine, with no glaring flaws.See the attached pics for more.AROMAThe Vanilla Crème Brulée scent is fantastic. It smells like a vanilla baked good, like a sugar cookie, and it’s strong without being cloying or overpowering. It’s fall at the time of this review, and this is a great fall scent and may be even more appropriate come the Christmas holidays.IN USEThis candle burns exceptionally cleanly and relatively slowly. It never smokes, ever. So far, it has been used for about 40 hours and about half of it remains.Many candle wicks need to be trimmed down before or after use. Not this one. Trimming the wicks does not help the burn and may only hinder the size of the flame. The wick ends resist clumping and balling problems, staying relatively clean.One oddity is the accumulation of little dark clumps in the wax as the candle burns that may be actual bits of vanilla. Hard to tell. They don’t detract from the appearance of the candle when lit, but it’s an unusual happening nonetheless.Thoughts in brief…PRO+ This candle smells fantastic, with a scent true to its description+ It’s smokeless and burns slowly (but see below)+ This candle never needs a wick trimming+ Need ambiance in a room? This…MEH* The double wick seems to add little except to speed up the burn rate* Made in the USA is wonderful, but the nebulous qualifier “of global components” offers buyers no idea where it’s from entirely or what portion those global components compriseCON- This candle comes in at nearly $30 at the time of this review—ouchSUMMARYThis Yankee Candle is the first of that brand that I have owned, and it’s great. But is it worth the money? That’s the hard call. This is an expensive candle that eventually burns away. If you’re looking for the aroma benefits, a stick of incense costs a fraction of the money and does the same job. Or a reed diffuser. If you’re looking for the ambience of a candle, much cheaper ones exist, even faux candles made with flickering LEDs that never burn out. Taking cost into account loses this otherwise fine product a star, but it stays recommended.

This is a new scent for me, but I like YC products because they put off a lot of scent and the sent stays behind longer than cheaper candles. This isn't the most sophisticated scent, but it's a good time of the year for it (it would be too cloying when it's hot, I think). It has that subtle smell of burning sugar that sets it apart from a generic vanilla candle. It smells like baking, which is always welcome. The candle burns evenly (as long as you follow the guide for burn time) and doesn't smoke. I may order one of these for the holidays for my sister who loves vanilla candles because it's still vanilla, but better (IMHO, anyway). It arrived unbroken and carefully wrapped. We're really enjoying it.

I love this candle so much! It arrived quickly and safely. I like the new design/shape of it. Upon opening the jar I was instantly hit with the powerfully delicious vanilla scent. I left the lid off and every time I come home or go into that room I'm instantly welcomed by that fragrance. I really like that! I've enjoyed a few weeks of just that before even lighting it. It still smells delicious when lit and it burns slowly. Hopefully it will last me for a good while as I absolutely love candle light because it is gentle, mesmerizing, and so relaxing. I definitely would recommend it as I have no complaints and love the scent so much! Would make a fantastic gift idea too!

Has a very creamy tone to it, & a sweeter vanilla. Think a freshly homemade baked cake.I wouldn't describe the scent to be pungent, or "heavy", rather it have "warm" consistency. It isn't an your face, "overbearing" scent that'll possibly annoy you or give you a headache. & It isn't as stronger as some of the yankee candles usually are.I'm upstairs & the scent would always travel to the living room on the bottom floor when lit. I would get subtle hints of it from that far away. It wouldn't linger as long though, as I couldn't really notice it after about an hour unlit.Pleasant scent overall. I can see somebody not into the "heavier" scents appreciating this, especially if gourmand scents are preferred. 5/5 !

I love love love any vanilla, cookie, baked goods smelling candles. Makes me feel like I’m baking something good without eating it lol. Yankee Candle always has a great quality candle with strong scents and long-lasting wax. This candle is large and should last me a month or two of lighting it for a couple hours each night to relax.The smell is very vanilla / sugar cookie like. It’s a great fall smell that makes the house feel warm even though it’s getting cold outside.Mine was shipped in a cardboard shell inside of a box. The box didn’t have any bubble wrap or anything but luckily my candle still made it safe and unharmed.

Yankee Candles are are the leader in the market for a reason, they make quality candles with variety of scents and fragrances like no other. They also change things up improve old classics with an added flavor or scent and that is exactly what this Vanilla Creme Brûlée reminds me of a twist on their classic vanilla candle only so much more delicious smelling. The scent is nice and strong, I burn it in my kitchen and the smell travels through out my home sweetening it up. I like that it is a slow burning candle and even after hours of burning it only put a minor dent in it. I highly recommend Yankee Candles, they make a great gift for the holidays, housewarmings or just because.
