I am really curious why you are reading reviews? If you need a plastic shaker, this is a good one. If you need a metal shaker this is not a good one. As I think about it, I might just buy another one...

Quality not as expected

Bought this set as extra, worked great, great deal, recommended for basic boba teas and drinks at home.

Inexpensive, durable BUT explodes without tight seal
This is a very good alternative to a metal or glass shaker/mixer. The price is inexpensive and the durability on so far is stable. The only problems I have with this particular mixer is that it creates air when you put on the lid and the little cap where the strainer is. You have to take off the strainer cap and then put lid on first. Even after that though, it still creates air when you shake it so you have to hold it down tight or shake your drink over a sink. All in all, I happy with it and still get a kick out of using it.
