Used to mount the license plate on my Airstream replacing the sheet metal screws and much more secure. Will be more areas to use thos tool

I originally purchased what I thought was a better model so that I could modify my vehicle (used for transporting hobbyist lumber and diy materials). The other model, which worked pretty decently, didn’t have certain attachments, so I bought this one. This one is “much” easier to use, although the instructions are garbage! I practiced on a hollow door, and the rivets grabbed much stronger than I thought they would. I pulled pretty hard on the screw, and they didn’t tear out (and they’re OLD doors!). I hung up my jackets on the screws, so I’m pretty happy with the hold. I can’t wait to try this for what I bought for (sheet metal), but I have no doubt in my mind at all, that it’s perfect! It also took very little force to apply. Removing the tool was a little “iffy”, but it came loose in the end.

Great tool any metal working application.

Bit broke off after placing a few inserts. Can't get the broken end out of the screw hole, so the whole insert will have to be carefully ground/drilled out, then I can buy a replacement, bit and try to make it right. Not having this tool at all would have saved me hours. A good concept ruined by low quality. A shame.

Works well and comes with metric and sae bits.

Works as expected. Bought a second one for another location.

Handles are approximately 9 inches long, which are probably too short for any riv-nuts other than those in aluminum, brass, and stainless (?). Repeated use on steel riv-nuts may result in tool failure, but they tell you that.Great tool!

Since mandrel is problematic fit to the well, retracting the mandrel from the nut after placement is very cumbersome.
