I bought this top after my original metal top rusted shut (my fault, not BGE). The problem I have with this top is that the swivel portion is now warped up and I have all but lost the ability to reach proper smoking temperature. Back to the original...

Not better than original
top slides too easily, worse than the original BGE top. Had to drill out rivet and replace with a spring loaded nut/wingnut combo. Now lid stays where I put it. Manufacturer is aware of problem. Should be an easy fix it they are so inclined.
