GORGEOUS. I purchased 4 of these, and they all came in perfect shape thanks to the thorough packaging. My husband has always made the most delicious Japanese / Hawaiian dishes, we didn’t do anniversary gifts this year but instead decided to invest in a soup set and I’m so glad we did. We will be taking extra care of these in hopes they’ll be around for a long while. They’re so pretty, I had to display them on a shelf instead of keeping them in a cabinet. I’m obsessed!

I utterly love this set. The bowl is sturdy and holds heat very well. I think I got my top wet, because it warped just a bit after a couple uses. It doesn't affect anything aside from rocking a little when it's being used, though. The blue is really pretty too.Since it holds heat so well, you obviously want to keep pot holders handy. If you have medium sized hands, it's not too hard to hold the bowl by the ring at the bottom and the top without burning yourself if you can't find your pot holders.

The bowls were very well packed and arrived undamaged. One-star.The glaze contained large drips, and was unevenly applied. Ascetically very poor.There were two areas on the rim of the bowls where the glaze was missing, initially it seemed like they were chipped, but no... the glaze simply wasn't applied consistenty and maybe a tool or person removed part of the glaze prior to firing.Worse than astethics, the interior of the bowls was not smooth. Instead there are circular grooves about 1/16-1/8" in depth in the bottom of the bowl, clearly from when it was turned. These will be an excellent way to accumulate food debris and make cleanup difficult.They are nicely shaped bowls: One star.Very poor glazing and quality control. -3 stars. I could easily get more well finished bowls at any big-box store for 1/8th the price.

The spoon was broken on delivery, the chopsticks are actually painted black vs the bamboo look, and I was expecting a bit more sparkle appearance in the design. It looks more dull in reality.I will say that the bowl does look durable and is still fairly pretty. I don't think I will really use the spoon. Though the chopsticks don't truly match the set in design, I will just be using it for my own personal use and not guests.

These are absolutely so beautiful, they are even better than I thought they would be. Really good quality, arrived in perfect condition. You can tell they wrapped/packaged this with care. I'm just really happy with these bowls, definitely worth the price ❤️ I shouldn't be surprised if I order more 😊

My husband and I love these bowls. The bowls and spoons are beautiful but the weird thing is that we really love the quality of the chop sticks! They are very comparable in the hand and have just enough texture on the surface to be easy to pick things up.

My family liked the set but dropped the spoon. Wish I could get another spoon to match. I had to buy wooden spoons cause family was afraid same kind of spoons would break on them. Very nice set.

I purchased 2 of these bowls. They are beautiful, they keep food warm for a while and the large size is perfect for stir fry veggies and noodles or rice. Love the lids.
