Q: will this work for singer model 9410?

No. The Singer All-Purpose Snap-On Presser Foot is for Low shank sewing machines and the Singer model 9410 sewing machine is a Slant Shank sewing machine and therefore is not compatible. You will need to make sure, when purchasing any optional presser feet for the Singer model 9410 sewing machine, that the presser feet are compatible with a Slant Shank sewing machine. We always recommend when using any presser foot for the first time, you do this simple test before sewing. 1)-Attach the presser foot 2)-Lower the presser foot 3)-Hand turn the hand wheel at least 4-6 times to make sure the needle is clearing the presser foot correctly.
