TOAKSTitongs Set

Titanium fork and spoon, plastic piece to join them into tongs. I like to carry less when camping and backpacking and literally had been looking for this on and off before it was made. Great little piece of gear, replaced my tongs and cutlery, shaving ounces off my load. Durable, semi nonstick, lightweight and well thought out. Not a poor quality all in one "foon" or spork, but an actual fork and spoon that works as an actual set of tongs.

Brought these as an alternative to regular tongs for use while camping to reduce amount of space needed for extra cooking utensils and eating utensils. They are super lightweight and the attachment works wonderfully. Will come in so handy while camp cooking when I need to flip fish or veggies on the camp fire.

This does its job. It's very light and it's pretty sturdy, but the piece that holds it all together can stretch out pretty easily if you aren't careful. It's a great addition to any backpacking kit but it won't be replacing any barbecue equipment.

Very lightweight and well built. You're especially getting 3 utensils in 1. I use mine for kayak camping. I'm not sure I would recommend these for someone looking to do a through hike, but for most backpacking and section hikes where you're not overly concerned with weight and counting every gram...these are nice to have!

I was hoping these would work to turn food items on my little backpacking grill, but was disappointed that they could not handle the job. They could feasibly turn hot dogs, but the silicone part is too flimsy for anything heavier. You end up having to "chopstick" the fork and spoon part (sorry, can't think of a good explanation) with your fingers, which you could do without the connector anyway and it brings your hands in burn range.They could work for light duty... ice cubes, veggies (not corn or potatoes), salad tongs etc. The silicone weighs so little, if the extra ounce in your pack is not an issue and you prefer using separate eating utensils rather than a spork, then sure, they might work for you. But if I have to pack stronger tongs for heavier grilling, it renders these obsolete. (By the way I found some cheap tea light retrievers at a grocery store that are very light but strong enough to turn a large steak, potato or ear of corn.)I love Toaks products. I have several pots, cups, plates and other items. Their wood burning stove is on my wish list. I'm sorry this one doesn't work out.

It’s very light and has dual use. Very useful for cooking.

Good tongs, great for light weight backpacking. Needed tong for long fishing trips, these are sturdy and break down taking up little to no space.
