This is essential for cheaper cuts of meat. I was trying to cook two cuts of meat medium and one had a line of fat. The heat curled this a made it a little rare.This makes the meat cook quicker evenly and helps hold moisture as you get a good seal on the meat.

Easy to use and clean, not too heavy.

It was stinky even after cleaning. It does the job but went rusty after the first use, I cleaned and dried it before storing it. It's not just cheap quality but unusable, also I had to pay for the postage when I asked for a refund ... nice!

It does exactly what I wanted. It keeps bacon flat in my frying pan, and matches the size of the flat bottom of my wok (I use that as a frying pan).

Covered in rust after 1 wash. Cleaned it again this time drying it strait away. More rust. Chucked it in the bin

I have better results using a thin spatula
