Excellent adhesion
If you don't want the rug to go anywhere then these are ideal. Very hard to pull up but don't leave a residue. I use them on rugs and also fabric dog beds that usually slide around on hard wood floors. They do not lift when being vacuumed and massively help in keeping the corners of rugs down-making sure they're not becoming trip hazards around the home.

Rug still moves on wooden floor
Doesn’t do anything to stop the rug from slipping. It is as dangerous with or without these. They are easy to use and the theory is good but they didn’t keep the rug from slipping at all which meant my children slipped every day. We ripped it all up in the end and put the sofa on top of the corners of the rug which was a better fix.

Useless on carpet
I tried to use these to stop my rug moving on carpet however they don't stick properly to the rug so obviously don't work
