Good quality. It's a plain white, blends in. Nice size, easy to assemble and plant. Exactly what I was looking for.There is another product on Amazon that looks exactly the same, bit double the price. This option was definitely better and great quality for the price.I did not have soil or plants in the pot when I took the picture. Once plants were in, I could not longer see the light come through.

I am happy with this self watering planter. I got 4 of them and built a wood standing box to put them in. I put water in them every 10 days or so, and flowers are doing great. I was so anxious to try them that my box started out in the house until it warmed up outside. The directions are a little confusing but basically you just need to make sure the floating thing is free moving. Considering getting more.

I've gotten a few different self watering planters, and so far these are the best in many regards (but limited by their shape/what you can plant in them).Main goals for self watering planters (for me, at least) are ones with a reservoir that allows me to skip watering for longer than I would normally watering plant. Some planters have small reservoirs and effectively only really work as bottom-waterers, rather than self-waterers, others have larger reservoirs that are too open so the water evaporates quickly, thus defeating the point.THESE are great in that they truly are "self-watering". They hold a LOT of water and there's barely anywhere for it to evaporate from, so they stay full/watering for a long time.The one issue is that the water gauge doesn't always work, which is a bigger problem with a design like this because you can't easily check inside to see the water level by eye - and when you can, you can't see how it compares to the height of the soil container pot (because you have to take it out to see inside the reservoir). The gauges work by basically having a bottom piece that floats on the water and pushes the little straw up. Simple, appropriate design. The issue is, I THINK, that the gauge is in the corner and sometimes gets stuck on the sides of the planter? Something makes it get stuck, I'm not sure what. So it doesn't always tell you the correct height, and it's hard to know when it's working/when it isn't. You can accidentally overfill the reservoir which is a pain because you need to pull out the whole interior container (messy) and then pour the water out. Not the worst thing, but not totally effortless, either.Minor complaint, which basically exists because of what makes this planter so good, but definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Re-potted my bathroom spider plants and they were perfect!!

I have bought this product two times. The first order was great and I used it for putting ivy above my kitchen cabinet. It looks and works great, and the plants flourished, since the plants are high, I can monitor their water without climbing up there constantly. The second set I got I used for the same thing but didn't actually use them for a while after my order, and they both have cracks, so they leak water. I have tried to repair them several times but can't seem to stop the leaking, so my plants are dying.

This was light, easy to set up and I love that I can fill it with water and not worry about it for a week or so! Decent size - I fit 3 herb plants in it. Probably could fit more if you don't mind crowding.

I use these rectangle planters for my crawling plants like Philodendron Lynamii and it works incredibly well! I also use some for other non crawling plants like Nanouks and various Pothos.Once the roots are establish, the self watering feature of this planter works great and helps minimize the frequency of watering.

Thinking I may need a bigger container lol. This container is perfect for people like me, I do not have a green thumb but I do keep trying I won't give up, This is the longest a plant survived in my care. It is big now, doubled in size if not more since I bought it and is top heavy too. Assembling the container was a breeze, at first a bit confusing, step one remove connector, step two throw away connector, I kept them but it works great. as you can see by the photo, it is large, and will fit a good size plant or many flowers, I just may buy more of these to put around the house instead of a digging in dirt and pulling weeds all the time.Thank you Amazon, they arrived sooner than expected and I absolutely love it
