Canon 70D with Canon EF 24-105mm stands strong and works great!
Hello fellow Amazon shoppers,This is my first stabilizer, and I was able to stabilize it in a matter of 10 mins, no problem.By looking at the pictures/videos and all the research I did before I bought this, it is almost the exact same as a glide cam but cheaper by a lot!I am very happy with this purchases.I have attached some photos of the product.

So far so good!
This is my first stabilizer so after a few hours of looking up how to balance a Glidecam I finally got the VS2000 right. It's very similar to the Glidecam HD series in the fact that it has aft and bow controls for the camera once you put it on the mounting plate. It's very sturdy and the overall build is VERY nice, the extra "wings" at the bottom make it so you can place it on the ground without worrying about it tilting over with your equipment on top and that's a very nice touch. The only cheap part is the foam grip on the handle, which I expected from looking at reviews of other stabilizers and seeing that this one has a similar grip design. Aside from that, I have no complaints so far, its a very sturdy stabilizer that I would recommend if you do not want to spend 300+ for one yet. I'll follow up once I have had more time with it and put up a footage vid.

I mostly like this product
I mostly like this product, though the plastic knobs stripped out in the first few times of using the stabilizer. I also made the mistake of letting the bottom bar with the weights fall out of the upper tube while I was holding the cheap foam handle. Guess what happened? The camera and sled cracked me on the top of the nose, leaving quite a bloody mark I am still healing from. I wish they had a little springy ball and hole safety feature so that doesn't happen. I invested in a lighter prime lens, so I am hoping that I will not have to pull the bottom bar so close to the end. I might also do some searching to find a longer replacement bar - though not so sure how easy that will be.
