These noise blocking headphones are very padded and very comfy to wear all during the night which blocked out my husbands snoring.Great product and a great price. I highly recommend them

On the plus side these ear defenders work well for blocking screeching on parts of London Underground where the wheels scrape against the track, such as Northern line between Camden and Euston and Central line near Stratford. They also allow you to hear natural conversation while blocking out higher or lower range noises. On the minus side they squeeze the head and are uncomfortable after a few minutes. For short-term use they are fine.I tested these defenders in various scenarios:Pneumatic drill - I stood three feet from a workman in the street using a drill on the pavement - excellent, sounded like the drill was half a mile away.Drum concert - heavy night-club type bass - no effect, didn’t work to keep out bass.London Underground - screeching as train wheels grind the track - good, prevents noise from being ear-piercing.Washing up chinaware in the sink - plates and cutlery banging and crashing - good, they prevent the noise from being painful.You must ensure the noise blockers fit right around the sides of your face. The slightest mis-fit due to the mufflers not being positioned properly, and they basically don’t work. E.g. if you wear a woolly hat that gets in the way of the defenders, they won’t work.These are not noise cancellers but noise blockers. There is no cancelling effect but don't let that put you off. I would recommend these.

Not too tight for me. Appear to be well made and significantly reduce sound while riding my grass cutter.

I am a DIY er in her 60’s with a penchant for purple so these were perfect. These were a bit of a fiddle to put on as they are designed to be compact for easy storage, a small detraction. These kept me comfortable during a long de-grouting task. These would be an excellent addition for a long journey on a train or plane for peace and quiet.

Better than my last folding pair of ear defenders (slimmer) and they reduce the noise better too I believe. I’ll buy them again if they pass the test of time.

Cheap and cheerful. Plastic build and reasonable soundproofing (I wear them over expensive in ear protection).As others have mention they are incredibly tight. Not uncomfortable when wearing them but can make opening them up to put on a faff.

Very good values ear mufflers, cut out all the background noise from my leaf blower . Good strong plastic moulding and sturdy construction.A little on the tight side , so as instructions I opened up the compact headphones and stretched over a box for a few hours to stretch out the firm overhead springy metal curved bar , to help easing on and releasing the pressure on the ears . Good value and well made .

I liked that it muffled the sound at the range, comfortable to wear and folds into a ball making it very compact.

Was looking for a set that was comfortable, compact, and black.Compact:Folds up nicely, not bulky, look good, decent build quality.It is just ear cups with foam in them but I don't feel weird wearing them like the huge 3M set.Sound isolation:Good/great as good as any off brand ear protection.3M hearing protection earmuffs are a little better but 3M are so bulky.These do help with higher frequencies as well unlike a lot of cheaper sets.Clamping force:A little much but if you leave it clamped on the box overnight it helps.I have a wide head so they do fit but stretching them is definitely required.Glasses:Still seals with glasses and doesn't apply to much pressure on them. Glasses do leak in a little more noise but it's acceptable.Price:16 ish dollars? Worth every penny.Definitely great for concerts and noisy work environments.Works great with noise cancelling earbuds in and even makes them sound better in noisy environments.Up/down adjustment is just kinda ok.You do get sweaty in warmer environments but not as much as I expected.5/5 worth every penny.
