Works like most other semi-permanent hair dyes out there; lots of color and pigment!
My hair is dark brown from the roots to about 6 inches down, then my hair goes into bleach blond. You can see in photos attached. The darker photo is after 4 washes and the brighter one is taken in the sun right after dying. This semi-permanent did an awesome job coloring my hair a beautiful red/fuscia color. This is definitely more of a purple red than an orange red in tone; the package color is a big misleading. It's absolutely stunning and I have gotten a ton of compliments on how beautiful the color is and I have been impressed with the staying power. Any semi-permanent will only last 4-6 weeks if you wash your hair once a week (by last I mean stay somewhat vibrant). This is very pigmented so cover all surfaces and wear clothing you don't like when using it. The pigment does come off with multiple washes even on counters and clothing. This had a nice creamy texture to it and was easy to work into my hair. I kind of wish it didn't come in a tube (I like the tubs better because sometimes I am using many colors as once).Overall I liked this. I think it's very similar to One N Only, Manic Panic, Color Intensity etc. My favorites will remain Manic Panic and One N Only.I have been using semi-permanents a long time a couple of suggestions for those who have issue getting the colors to take to their hair or stay in.Prep/Coloring:- Make sure you wash your hair right before coloring with a cleansing shampoo. You want a shampoo that will strip everything out of your hair. Cheap shampoos without wax will also work. DO NOT put in any conditioner or styling products before dying.- Section your hair into many small sections, I usually do about 20 sections and saturate them completely with the dye.- Put petroleum jelly on your ears, back of neck, shoulders...this way you won't dye your other skin.- Wear gloves!!!!- Don't apply dye all the way to your roots; I leave dark roots that way I don't dye my scalp weird colors.- Leave the dye on as long as you can, you can also hit it with a hair dryer on hot to really lock the color in.- After you rinse the hair dye out make a mixture of 3:1 water: apple cider vinegar and scrub this into your hair and rinse; this will take any "loose" dye and make sure color isn't running everywhere when your hair gets wet later or rub off onto clothing or pillows, etc.- You can use Micelle water (I use Garnier's) to clean off any dye from your skin and bathroom.Maintaining Your Semi-Permanent Color:- Wash as little as possible. I usually wash once a week and use dry shampoo in between.- Wash with as cold of water as you can stand.- Use a good deep conditioning hair mask to make sure your hair staying shiny and sleek looking- Be prepared to repeat the whole coloring process monthly if you want to really keep vibrantly coloring hair.

Nice colour, but an over promise
I like the colour, and I'm happy that the formulation is MOSTLY natural. However, I did not find that the colour lasted anywhere close to 30 washes. I would say 8 at most. The product is much easier to use that drug store brands, as there is no mixing required. As a result I can save without is left for another use, which makes it much more economical, especially since I only use it for highlights not my entire head of hair.

Waste of money and time.
I was hoping the color would pop as advertised, but knew better. I was however expecting the color to at least be teal tinted in the light. Instead it left my hair sickly black with a hue that needs a magnifying glass to appreciate. A sad waste of money. I’m glad I only did a tester piece.
