Tales of Xillia 2: Collector's Edition - PlayStation 3

My comment will be about the CE itself and not the gameI bought this CE on sale, well after the game came out. I don't know why Bamco thought pricing this CE so much higher than the last one was a good idea, but it was why I had skipped out on it and stuck to the standard edition of the game. In the end I paid about as much as I was willing to.The figures included in these editions aren't high tier ones you'd spend hundreds of dollars on, but if you're like me, that doesn't matter. Just the novelty of having a physical presence of a character is enough.Along with the figure there's a small plushie of the "mascot" character. Simple but cute.As well, it has a compact with two mirrors styled after a item at the centre of the game story. Would've been cool to be an actual compass, but the outer design is nice enough. And I always get a giggle out of letting people use it and then get confused by the design :PThere's a decent steel book included. Just the same game cover on it, but it's still a nice little trinket. A hardcover art booklet is included. More of a novelty, but still nice to have.Over-all for the price I paid, I was satisfied with my purchase, but again, I didn't see the value in this as a day 1 buy :/

The game is amazing and so are the collectibles. Who wouldn't want to add to their collection a handsome Ludger, a cute Rolo and a gorgeous replica of the watch? The book and music disc are just as awesome. And the DLC add fun to your game! The order arrived a week before it was supposed to. The best gift for yourself or any fan of Tale of Xillia 2! I couldn't be happier!

Not only did it get here in record time, everything was as described and was even better than what I was expecting. I am especially enjoying the game itself. It is not as good as its predecessor but it is still amazing. A definite must have for any Tales fan (especially if you enjoyed/ played Xillia 1).
