I like the way these work. They feel more secure than the usual fold down clamps. The ones I bought were probably too long but they worked either way. I would buy again, just a little shorter. The other thing is that mine are not up against my transom which makes using these easier. It might be harder if the straps were up against the transom.

Great strap except there is no retaining strap for the strap end. I used duct tape to keep it from dragging on the ground. Which adds to the strapping and unstrapping time

These are some heavy duty straps. The nylon is high quality and the ratchet works smooth and is made well. The hooks are also coated in rubber so they won't scratch anything.I don't know what I was expecting, but the actual ratchet part is huge. I imagine they will begin to rust if not properly cleaned and lubricated.However they appear to be heavy duty and could double as a small winch or come-along.

Received this today and went to try it out on my waive runner trailer. One of them worked really well and the other I had a very hard time with the release. After about 15 minutes of struggling with it, I finally got it loose. There ok, and I like the fact that they are 2', After receiving them though, I think the price paid is a little too much. I have purchased a boatBuckle ratchet set at Bass Pro and the pair that I got there were perfect, and seemed to be a better quality for about the same price.

Boat these for our boat. They attach great and work well. Very well made.

Haven't had a chance to use yet, winter came too fast here in northern Maine, but I was very impressed with them when received. Very sturdy looking.

Used to secure my RIB transom to the trailer for towing. They go on and off easily, and remain secure even after a few hundred miles. As with all such buckles they occasionally get stiff, but these are better than most and I would buy again.

I purchase these back on May 25th 2021 and was happy with the quality of the straps until they came loose and one fell off almost hitting car behind me! The person passed me to tell me that strap had fallen off at the rear of my boat! So I pulled over to take a look! After walking back up the road to find the strap I re-installed it and check the other side as it was loose as well! I hadn't used the boat for a few weeks until last weekend to have both come loose once again! Now there's no contact info for the supplier that's why I'm writing here! I need a replacement of my money back! I have to buy a new set before the fall off and cause a accident! Thank you for your time!

Bought them to replace the 15 year Old ones that were on the boat that snapped on the way back last camping trip. I hated those turn buckle types that don’t ratchet. So far these are working awesome. Quite happy for the price paid. Hope they last for some time!Only complaint was so should have bought the longer ones so that the strap doesn’t come out of the ratchet when you go to loose it. Easy fix just burnt the edges and folded them so that they can’t be pulled out easily.

Received through Amazon and as usual fast shipping. The transom tie-downs exceeded my expectations. Heavily constructed webbing, stitching and the ratchet. The added cover behind the ratchet does help protect against scratching. Another good purchase for the money and truly works well for my boat and trailer.
