El método de extracción del café es muy puro y obtiene el mejor sabor del mismo.Por el tipo de método consumes más café de lo normal para lograr el sabor ideal si te gusta fuerte, pero lo vale sin duda.El termo no guarda tanto el calor, pero en mi caso no requiero sea mayor a 2-3 horas

I find if you put the insulated cap on to store hot coffee, the unit is awkward to hold and pour unless you screw back on the class cone/spout when pouring. *They sell a spout with handle separately that solves this* I've broken the glass already, it's not the toughest material, however * found replacement glass for only $15US on their website. Other replacement parts see to be reasonably priced among their whole product line, but shipping and conversion to CDN may affect this. The mesh/filter is fine, I don't use any paper filter with it and although they recommend a very coarse to medium coarse grind, it filters extremely well so you can really customize to a finer grind and not worry about little bits or grains ending up in your cup. I found what I brewed to be much better than my french press, I've done both dry and oily grounds no problem and there's no intensifying of bitterness over time, unlike with a french press.Contacted their support and they provided a free shipping code from US to Canada for my parts, top notch response. I very much like this carafe so not only to be able to save it, but also add the spout/handle part I sort of have to give it 5 stars now as I have no other complaints. I feel the handle should be standard, however, instead of the screw on cap.Looking forward to receiving my items. What I really like about this is that I can replace the broken parts, most pour over carafes are all glass so once it breaks - it's done.
