Q: Are all the ingredients vegan?

We don't recommend eating the chalk. It is non-toxic, and wouldn't hurt you, but it's not for eating, it's for drawing. It's probably fine for vegans to use. Chalk doesn't have any animal products in it, but technically, the gypsum comes from limestone, and many many many millions of years ago, limestone was made--by nature--from coral reefs that died and were covered over. But they were long gone before any people came.

Yes it cleans off / wears off easily.

Q: what is the size of each chalk piece?

They are approximately 4" x 1", and they taper into a slight cone shape so the chalk won't roll away.

I used an empty 4qt icecream bucket. It took 2 of them but you can leave them outside and not worry about them.
