This most likely will not fit. The 52T is too big to clear your frame.

Not sure? But if it has the square inserts for the crank and room for the disk it should fit.

Q: I have a 42t on 16” folding bike. Will it fit?

I'm waiting on mine to get delivered so that I could put it on my 16" Citizen Tokyo. From my research, it seems pretty clear that it would fit without any issues. Multiple people on folding bike forums have said that it fit their folding bikes and they were very satisfied with the results. I looked at my Cotizen Tokyo and there is nothing in the way of a bigger crankset whatsoever. Literally there is nothing that a bigger crankset would make contact with. The only issue is whether the left side chainguard will be big enough cuz the Mobic one shows only the right side chain guard and not the left. I hope this helps.

Q: Do you have to increase the length of the chain to use this item?

I did not. But, I installed it on my Trident recumbent trike which has an especially long chain.
