The missing cat
I bought these to try and find my cat as he comes out at night and had escaped the house I used these and found him straight away it picks up the reflections of the eyes so this would be ideal for hunting use

Genial!
Se ve de lujo, la imagen se ve muy bien y tiene un buen zoom. Los acabados se ven de buena calidad. Muy bien para el precio que tiene.

Good value for the money
Works as advertised, let's you see in the dark. I could not get a sharp image no matter how much I adjusted the focus wheel, but I have to wonder if my crappy close up vision is a factor. I initially tried it in a location with some supplemental IR illumination, so the image was quite bright. The FOV is somewhat limited, but it's adequate considering the price. I also noticed that when I moved my head the image seemed to glitch momentarily from time to time. It would be nice if the resolution was better, but I was still able to identify my targets.

Good value for the money
I'm pretty impressed with the night vision capabilities of this. It has various IR settings (illuminator brightness levels) that at the highest setting make identifying a human figure around 100 meters away fairly easy. It works well with zero natural illumination. The buttons are easy to manipulate and not too complicated with a little practice. I removed the rubber guard in order to get more unaided situational awareness, otherwise it is near impossible to move around with such restricted tunnel vision. The head strap is ok, but I will probably get a helmet for it soon, because the weight pushing on your forehead is pretty uncomfortable. Overall very pleased for the money.

Pretty nice Digital Night Vision
First impressionsIt's a pretty cool NVG, I only played around with it for a few hours so here's what I can tell youPro:- It works pretty nice, you can see in the dark with IR lights. It has its own IR light source to see in the dark, it has a Zero IR mode so it can receive IR light and not expose your position as there are noticeable "Red eyes" in the darkness(I also purchased the IR flashlight from Night fox for testing and it's pretty good with discreet light source).- it has a color mode to see in regular light, and unlike some NVG you can safely use it in daylight without overexposing your lens and rendering your NVG useless.- Backlight for the screen can be turned low or high for visibility.- It's relatively small which is good.- Relatively lightweight, it's not too heavy in the hands or on the head but you can feel it after a while.- (airsoft) Rechargeable battery, much better in my opinion AND you can plug a cable in AFTER you turn it on to keep it working while charging(unlike another review I saw where they said you can't do it because they plugged it in BEFORE turning on).- (airsoft) It can be mounted on GoPro mounts to wear on your helmet for night time games.- 1x view, which is nice so that you don't lose more of your peripheral vision when walking around.Con:- No mounts for GoPro, you have to find your own parts to mount it on a helmet, not a deal breaker.- Nose ridge is bad, it doesn't fit naturally on my face, Nightfox should consider maybe a few rubber options. But not a big deal breaker unless you're wearing it up against your face.- The 7 levels of IR light setting start becoming monotonous after 3-4 and there's no noticable difference beyond those levels.- Peripheral vision like most NVG is not too great, you have a small window to see in the dark.- (airsoft) If installed on helmet, you still would want counterweights because the gopro mounts will put more weight in the front.- The resolution is not great, but not terrible to use. A little disappointed considering the smartphone technology we have now with the screen resolution. Could definitely be improved.- You will get motion blur due to it being digital, unavoidable.- focus dial is loose, it feels like this part has the least quality control.- (airsoft) It doesn't have the recording feature of their Cape NVG which is disappointing.- Mine has some scratches on the IR lights lens but doesn't affect IR lights.- Digital zoom makes no sense, it doesn't enhance the image it just makes it bigger which doesn't help and it makes it more difficult to navigate as your tunnel vision.- (airsoft) I'm concerned about the camera lens getting busted by a BB.Overall, it's a pretty sweet NVG on a budget, I am having fun with it. I will need to take it out to a game to test its actual effectiveness, but I hope my first impressions are a good reference point with this product.
